I'm finally releasing a new texturepack. This one is a mix between the RPG style, the Realistic style and a touch of Cinematic Realism.

I have a proposition (I have no idea what I'm talking about).

I will continue this pack for you. If you give me an email adress I can send you the textures I create to see if you're satisfied. All I need to know is if you've done any textures recently that I'm unaware of, if there are any ones in particular you'd like me to have a shot at.

A little credit would only make sense, but what I really care about is getting this pack done, the wait is killing me.

So yeah, hope I can get a response from you soon.

Why would you ever say something like this? You clearly have no respect for the author (theVoid1313) of this Texture Pack, and only care about furthering yourself. It's pretty bloody obvious. Also, why would he want someone to continue this pack for him, when he's already done tons of work on it? Like he said below, he was busy with other things, and I'd appreciate it if you didn't ridicule him for that. If he was working on several different texture packs and couldn't find the time, I could see him agreeing to this. But saying that YOU want credit for doing textures on HIS texture pack, just because he hasn't updated in a while? That's really selfish, and it makes you sound like a real jerk that just wants to have more popularity because you're "helping" with a texture pack that someone else made. It really shocks me that you're level 30 and you're asking this as well. It just screams "I need to get more popular!", and if that doesn't, I really don't know what does. It's comments like these that make me question the PMC Community even more, considering that most level 30 people are usually making their own texture packs. Just...wow.

Uhhhh... in case you haven't noticed, I've been extremely inactive. I have no interest in popularity. The credit thing was only because it would make sense. I've been keeping an eye on this pack for months, I wanted to see it done because I loved it.

I don't know why you're so mad, but I suggest not taking it out on random people you find on the internet. You have offended me greatly, but I'm going to do the mature thing and just leave it here.

Oh and in case you haven't realised, the only reason I offered to finish it was because it was clear he wasn't going to and, as I have said before, I love this pack.

I'll give you a little of backstory:

The reason I didn't update this pack when I said I would was because after I finished House of Hell, which was the thing that kept me from working on the pack all along, I looked back at the pack and realized it just wasn't right.
I have to say there are many things I don't like about this pack that I had never noticed before, and I lost the motivation after realizing that. Many of these textures are 1 year old from when I wasn't really experienced in texturing at all.
(Not to mention the fact that 1.8 came out with blockstates and many textures I had done were completely useless even with optifine)

I am a secret person, and I didn't feel like telling you guys that I was working on a "remake" thingy of AD(I started it two months ago), and I didn't really want to post it until it had enough content.
I'm sorry for being so slow, but I am NOT this pack, I have other things I put my time in, like Minevolution and House of Hell and I constantly have ideas for maps (some are coming soon)
The AD remake is called AD: Reforged, and I think you guys will like it. I'm now going to see if I can upload a build of that today with enough content.

Now to reply to Duskhawk:
If you want to make a cover of this pack (think how Monsterfish made Conquest, a cover of John Smith's) it's up to you, you can give it a name or something for people to tell appart from the original, but I don't really accept other people's textures into AD Classic. (and PMC also doesn't allow Packs that don't countain at least 50% original content: http://www.planetminecraft.com/rules/#resource_pack_minimum_requirements )

Will you guys just shut up and stop complaining? If he doesn't feel like updating it then it's his choice. Or you can go ahead and make textures for yourselves. Note that none of us are being payed for doing what we do.

You don't have to be so rude about it... In fact, a large time to wait like this is a good way to realize what there already is and be thankful for such a great FREE texturepack, because guess what? You're not the centre of the universe, and obviously, neither is the update.

I Love This Pack, But Can I Upload The Mix Of The Pack For Download? Or Send It To You To Put On This Page, Or Something? If Not Its Fine. But Just Thought I'd Ask! I Think I Am Not The Only One Who Doesnt Like Some Of The New Textures...

Anyway, Keep Up The Great Work! And Get Us The 1.8 Version Soon! :P

Could you pleae do more of the mobs, such as the cows and pigs and such, as well as the Wither and Ender Dragon? I mean, don't get me wrong, I love this resource pack, but those untextured mobs just turn me off of it. Thanks!

Peace, love, and tridents!

At the moment I made a pause on the development of this pack, in case you were wondering. I won't do more textures until probably september or so. But the cows and pigs should have a texture? Unless you are using an older version, they should have one.

One question: If we use some textures from the pack on a forum thread,
shall we, at the end, put credits ?

i continue to use this pack regularly, it is truly outstanding, one thing though:  your hourglass clock is a unique design, and it looks great, except i can't get the hang of reading it.  it's just not a clear as the typical watch face design.  any thoughts on revisiting this?  or am i maybe the only one having trouble reading it?

I understand. It really was a kind of silly idea of mine, I could have just made a "normal-fashioned" clock. I will try to revise it once I get to. I have some...ideas.

I can count by the fingers the amount of things left to do, and that for me means it's pretty much complete. Minecraft has hundreds, if not thousands of textures. I tried to make all textures flow with eachother, for many times I had to change and retexture lots of things. But the gravel is the texture that has been retextured the most amount of times(probably 10 or 11 changes in total), since the inception of this pack. I just cannot get it right, and I'm not changing anything back. Once there are no more textures to do, I will still make alterations and fix any possible problems with them, not to mention I will also be texturing things for mods(more to that in the future).

Edit: Ok, I exagerated a bit about the amount of textures. There are at least 300 textures in the game. But still, there are only from 10 to 20 textures more I have to make, and that's only 6% of the total(I did the math)

YAY! Baloons and confetti!

It strongly reminds me of Doku, but it's own version... They're similar, but easy to tell apart. They both have that look to them... do you understand what I'm trying to say? (if not, then I don't know how else to describe it)

Lava, certain animals and mobs like some villagers, I think the cow and mooshroom, the clown fish and pufferfish, lava. Some things are not done, but either way, the texture pack looks amazing! I especially LOVE the way you did the quarts! Well done! :)
