A very clean texture pack aimed at reducing visual noise.

UPDATE: 12/12/10: Changed glass texture.

UPDATE: 13/12/10
Glass, Pumpkins, Mossy cobble (Needs changing) and forges (really needs changing) are in! Some other bits and pieces too (like an improved underwater effect, and smoother shaded startup logo).

Updated All the way up to Minecraft v1.8 - The Adventure Update with many additions and changes. Several existing blocks improved.

Additional Details

Clean lines texture pack was created with the idea of reducing unnecessary noise in the textures, and creating a pack that would look good as a whole, in motion, as terrain; rather than just look good one block at a time. 


Updated to be completely biome and item compliant with all versions up to Minecraft v1.8.

This isnt reducing lagg, the game still needs to load every pixel from the terrain.png.
Only if u make the terrain.png smaller like 128x128 or 64x64 it would reduce lagg. ;)

I like this one a lot, but i think you should change two things: make the wood darker because it looks like sand, and the floating bed is bothersome.

Hey, great suggestions - Those are actually both things I already want to do. The floating bed is already ixed, along with LOTS of other little issues that had been bothering me, in my current WIP version that i'm doing for 1.9. I'm going to try and find time to play with the new prerelease in the next few days and do all the updates for that so I can get an early release out for v1.9.

As for darkening the wood - that's something I've been wanting to do too. When I started the pack I really likes light-coloured wood, but more and more these days I just think it should be browner and darker.

Really nice update, ty ^^  but I have 1 request. Could you pls make the water a bit see-through? It kinda annoys me that the water is so bright and "solid" in color :/

Hey! Sorry about not updating! I've been insanely busy. I'm actually about to release an Entire game that I wrote (), but once that's done (or, when I get some free time, which should be soon) I'll be updating Clean lines.

I was originally Planning to skip 1.7 and just do one big update for when 1.8 comes out. I had no idea people still used this!

Awesome, we'll be waiting for an update ^^  Your 16x16 pack is probably the best out there, and its SO easy on the eyes :D  Right now I'm using a 64x64 and its good, but it takes a bit more computer power, so pls update this asap :D

I have added pistons and all the new items for 1.7.3, with your permission, I would like to upload it as a revision considering I have altered some basic things like making the water more transparent and altering the craftbox and some others.
