Update: Now compatible with Minecraft 1.11. All should be ready, except I still need to finish working on shulkers. One color blocks are now only 1 bit for better performance. Particles and fire have been changed. Minor GUI changes to prevent collisions of boxes.

My first attempt at a texture pack and I thought it turned out quite nice so you guys can enjoy. The simplistic art style is my favorite in Minecraft, so download to see if you see similar beauty in it.

Here is my simple pack that should be good up to minecraft 1.8.8, please tell me if you encounter any issues in this version of minecraft or have other ideas. I still need to finish the art, which I do not remember doing anything with (But it has been a little while since I have heavily worked on my resource pack). Also, I am looking at redoing the GUIs as I am not particarly pleased with them, if you have any ideas I would be happy to hear them. I plan to make a 8x8 or even lower bit minecraft texture in the future, as I really like simplistic looks to minecraft. The particles look similar to default minecraft, but are slightly different; I will edit this more in the future when I get time. Please leave suggestions down below, but consider that this resource pack is designed the way I want it and it is really hard to make something for someone else's preferences. I am open to constructive criticism. Thanks!

This was a texture pack that I have been using for about six months and have decided to upload so others can enjoy!

Thanks to MasterMind_DC and his smoothcraft, I edited his fire texture and used it in my pack. Check out his pack here: www.planetminecraft.com/texture_pack/smoothcraft-19-pre-releases/

Exactly what i expected from a simplistic pack... Its exactly the same as all the others, and is clearly bucket filled/taced over the vanilla pack, you can even see a bit of the original redstone lamp texture. the only way you will ever get good at making texture packs is if you actually try to get better. Sorry if this seems rude, but "simplistic" packs are an excuse for people wo dont know how to texture. If you try to get better, and even emulate other people it will really help. almost 60% of the resource packs on this site are "simplistic" and they all look exactly the same. you can think yours is special, but it isnt. I suggest looking up some videos, or blogs on how to start texturing. If you would li ke help you can always message me, I would be glad to show you a thing or two, and teach you some tricks.

I will admit my skills at making a resource pack are not the best, and I thank you for your input. However, I actually started making a steampunk pack before this, and the small things I did were not bad. I ended up making a simple pack because that is the style that I like, I made one from scratch as I had problems with all of the ones I downloaded and I needed something to do on long roadtrips since my laptop cannot run minecraft. This is actually a texture pack for MYSELF, and I have been using it for a little over 8 months, I decided to publish it as some others might enjoy it. As much as I appreciate your comment, I would advise you not to go around calling people untallented  because they like a style. Simple is a style I like and I did not want to vere too far from the default textures as that is what I was used to. I also never said that mine was anything special, but I created the whole thing with very little input from other texture packs so it is just a coincidence if they look similar. Personally, I HATE texture packs that are meant to look realistic as minecraft is a world made out of blocks and was never meant to look from real life. However, I appreciate the time and effort that went into them, and I do not go around telling them that their work is not special. Take for example the photo realism packs, those are not very difficult to make but they take lots of time, I will not go around telling those people the reason they made those packs is because they lack the talent to make real texture packs.

As much as I appeciate you visiting the pack, I have plenty of talent if I wanted to make another style, it is just not my preference. Also look at the other comments, obviously some people enjoyed it! Sorry, this post was really caused by  the one line about your comment about: Sorry if this seems rude... If you have to start a sentence that way, I would not be writing it. That one line kept me distracted from the rest of your post which was perfectly acceptable.
