This pack makes heavy use of the custom colors mod, a part of MCPatcher. Get it here or this pack will not look exactly like Alpha!

Been playing since Alpha? Haven't been around that long but want to know what it was like? Try True Alpha! I'm pretty sure I thought of everthing, including original grass, leaves, bark, saplings, iron diamond and gold blocks, furnace, original pork, cobblestone, redstone and of course, the biomes are all gone. Try it for yourself and experience the throwback!

- Explosions more like in Alpha (tried my best, but had to go by intuition)

Guys, you can still use it until 1.5! But some 1.4 items(Carrot, Patato, etc.) are invisible. You can fix this if you look up "How to make a texture pack" on YouTube, then click a video, and it will show in the video dragging files from the minecraft.jar into a new folder, instead of making a new folder, double click the TrueAlpha.zip, and open the "gui" file, delete the "items" file, and drag in a new one!

hes turning our game into a roleplaying game and is losing its Sandbox feeling...

the only thing ill like about new updates is the Red dragon that should be coming out.
maybe after scrolls is done Notch will come back and striaghten things out turn minecraft for what it was and why we bought it.

Just because someone likes the RPG feel that does not mean there gay, most people only call people that to cover up there own gayness. I kinda like the RPG feel as most games are RPG games, and RPG game is a game where you take the role as a certain character, examples: Halo, Half-Life, Gears of war, Half-Life 2, Mass Effect 3, so on so forth. So there.

Yes! I remember when minecraft was fun and challenging, even before we could have our spawn point reset by sleeping. Now when ever I go onto minecraft I say "Ugh, this boiring game sucks, it used to be fun, but now it's &*%*&)$*@$#@!!!"

This is an amazing pack! I never experienced alpha, but when playing on Minecraft Classic, I absolutely LOVED the leaf colors and other graphics. Thanks for the update and I've subbed and diamonded!
