FAQ

Do I need a patcher for this texture pack?

No, you do not need a patcher for this texture pack to work.Just drag and drop the .zip file in to the texture pack folder.

Is this really 16x16?
In a way, most of the textures are 16x16 but a number of other textures like the mobs and particles are 32x32. This is to put more detail into the texture pack without needing any kind of patcher.

Will you make a higher resolution version of this texture pack?
No. This is designed for this resolution and will look wrong when scaling it up.

When will this texture pack be finished?
When it's done.

Are you going to add Aether mod support?
No.

How do I make those shields/animal skins on the walls?
Make paintings.

DO NOT REDISTRIBUTE THIS TEXTURE PACK ANYWHERE ELSE.
DO NOT USE ANY CUSTOM ELEMENTS OF THIS TEXTURE PACK ELSEWHERE.

I don't think I'll update this anytime soon. I'm simply busy with other stuff and I really don't have time to keep updating this at the moment. Though I might pick up this pack again in the future when I feel like it.

I've spent far too long looking at texture packs on PM but I think this one might be the one I come back to most often. It's definitely my favourite non-vanilla inspired pack I've used.

It is not updated to 1.7 and the new biomes would not be textured but if I put this outdated version will the old textures work with your pack?

Thanks to the new system of archiving the textures. The pack should work just fine even if it's outdated. The missing textures will just be filled in with the default.
Hopefully I'll get around to updating it. But I don't think I will have time for it any time soon.

Sorry for that silly question... got it resolved minutes after just by applying the pack in 1.7.... However, thanks for your answer! :)

P.S. I know how you feel about updating the pack... Numerous times I made tries in texturing finishing with a lazy 'delete' of the hours of work... A time-consuming hobby.

If you mean the runes for the enchantment book, I actually used real runes for that. They are medieval runes though, since the older versions of the Futhark didn't have as many runes/letters.
The only thing is that I didn't bother putting the runes in the correct place since there still aren't enough to fill the Greek alphabet we now use. Though I suppose I could change that.
