Language Pack
This texture pack also includes a language pack with changed item names and such to fit the changes made in the graphics. You can find it in the .zip inside the lang folder. This file replaces pirate speak so you'll have to select that ingame.
There is also a file with viking themed splash texts, you can find this file in the title folder.

FAQ

Do I need a patcher for this texture pack?
No, you do not need a patcher for this texture pack to work.Just drag and drop the .zip file in to the texture pack folder.

Is this really 16x16?
In a way, most of the textures are 16x16 but a number of other textures like the mobs and particles are 32x32. This is to put more detail into the texture pack without needing any kind of patcher.

Will you make a higher resolution version of this texture pack?
No. This is designed for this resolution and will look wrong when scaling it up.

When will this texture pack be finished?
When it's done.

Are you going to add Aether mod support?
No.

How do I make those shields/animal skins on the walls?
Make paintings.

Oh and for some reason when I downloaded the texture and everything I went to look at it and it only changed the mobs and swords and armor and didn't change the blocks or anything :L anything that could help make it were the blocks change?

nothing's wrong, I just haven't updated the pack to 1.5
So that's why the terrain and items don't show. I will update it when I have time, which will probably be some time this summer.

I have not updated it for 1.5 yet. It's clearly noted in the title.
Since the update of 1.5 texture packs have a completely different format for all items and terrain. This is why they do not show up. I am working on an update. I'm not yet sure when I'm going to release it though.

There is a converter that Dinnerbone released. It does all the work for you, just create images for all the new stuff and your done.

i noticed a couple particles have been overlooked.  the fireworks particles and the ones for happy/angry villager interaction.  i know the northmen didn't have fireworks, but you may want to add them in when you have time. ];D

Vikings weren't from Ireland. There are viking descendants in Ireland but they came from Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, etc.).
