The first time I came in contact with texture editing was
when I made a custom texture pack for a Zelda Adventure Map
I was building back in 2013. When I finished the texture pack
I was actually pretty surprised because I kinda liked creating
little textures and seeing them in-game. So I started to make my
own texture pack. With every new Update I added some new textures and
made the old ones a bit better.
I used this resource pack in my Let's Plays
on YouTube. This was a little advantage because my viewers could
say, what was and what wasn't looking good yet. So I edited the textures
many more times until now.
Now I think the textures and every
other thing I added in (like some new sounds) harmonize almost perfectly
together. Now is the time I want to share this resource pack with you
so you can use it too. I drew pretty much everything by myself.

What makes this Resource Pack Special and why you should use it:

In my opinion, this resource pack
brings everything together. From simplistic colorful cartoonlike
textures to an epic realistic feeling.
I added new Music for music discs, in
the main menu, the nether, the overworld and the end. The nether
portal and the stray did get new sounds too :)
This resource pack does work perfectly with shaders and looks really epic with them, too :3
Every texture does harmonize with all the other ones and has his own look at the same time.
I also made some shading
in some specific textures (f.e. the wood) to make them feel more
realistic and more 3D-like in your world. This resource pack does make
your world feel nice and colorful. And it doesn't look blurred at all,
either!
Warning: No matter how good or colorful it looks. You have to get used to the new
textures, since they don't really look exactly like the default
textures! It may takes a while, but testing things out in creative mode
or getting started in survival may helps out a bit ^^

There are some Alternative Textures in the Resource Pack: They usually have "alt" or a number at the end of their name.
If you want to change to the alt-texture, you just have to rename the normal one and delete the "alt"/number.
Finally I also want to mention, that this resource pack should get updated with every update of the game (and even more often).
