As the dawn rises, the routine begins.
An old tree fluffs its leaves and slowly extends its branches to the sky above its neighboring kin. In the shade of the forest floor, a golden light is seen dancing along the dead leaves and rocks. It draws closer to the old tree. The light hops to the many mushrooms covering its trunk. A quiet bell is heard ringing from the light. It greets this ancient creature. The tree creaks and groans, adjusting is branches in response. The morning visitors of deer have arrived, queuing the light to return to its patchwork house in the roots of the old tree.
This was very fun to create! I love a good ol' whimsical theme.
