So everyone is doing these story things, and since I am quite fond of writing, I am gonna make one too! :D :D

Chapter One
He ran and ran and ran -- it seemed like forever. He glanced behind him and saw the beast still chasing him. He takes a sharp corner and scratch his head on a branch. He touches the wound, and it is bleeding heavily. He hides behind a tree, and he watches as a flash of red and black passes him. He sighs heavily, and holds a leaf to the wound. He looks around and everything is blurry. He rubs his eyes once more, but it only makes things worse. He sighs as his head tips back and he falls into a long slumber...

He wakes up. He doesn't know where. He sits up in a hospital bed... a hospital bed...? He looks around, and there is a nurse. She has beautiful, crystal blue eyes, and her hair is pink. Her skin is quite pale, but she still looks beautiful. He lays back down, and sinks his head into the soft pillow. He winces in pain as the nurse touches the wound, and tears begin falling down his face. The nurse looks around, but for what? He wipes the tears away, his head sinking into the wet patch of tears. The nurse comes back with a pill, and offers it to him, "Take it," she says with a sweet, kind voice, "It will ease the pain." He hesitates for a moment -- is this a dream? No. It can't be. He takes the pill and swallows it, then lays back down. The nurse takes a seat next to him, "How do you feel?" He looks at her, and her cold eyes burn into his mind. He gulps and says in a shaky voice, "F-f-f-fine..." he winces in pain as he speaks. The nurse smiles, "I am Windy," she touches his hand softly, "And you are...?" The boy gulps, and moves his soft brown hair out of his eyes, "Cooper..." Windy smiles and gets up, "If you need anything at all, just ring the bell," she points to a golden bell with a imprint on it, "I suggest you rest though." She leaves the room, closing the door. Cooper looks at the bell closely, and on it he sees an imprint of it. He gulps. It even has the same colours. Black. Red. Those menacing, blue eyes. It looks like a twig -- if you do the slightest thing to it, it snaps and goes out of control. But he feels as if it is lonely. Unloved.
Unwanted.
He tips his head back and let the tears fall down again.
Lonely.
Unloved.
Unwanted.

Chapter
Two

Cooper had not known how long he slept for. Two hours? Three? He groaned and touched his head. He felt a moist cloth - the bandage. He sighs and turns in the bed, trying to get a comfy spot. His eyes glisten with tears and he lets them fall. They create a wet path on his cheeks, and his hair dampens. He picks up the bell and looks at the imprint, What are you? he says in his head, Why were you chasing me...? He sighs and begins ringing the bell, and sure enough, Windy comes running in. She has in her hand a taco and a glass of water, "I was about to come up here anyways," she places them on the bedside table, and Cooper hungrily eats. Windy laughs, "Slow down before you choke." Her voice was soothing, but fierce. Cooper slows down slightly, and drinks all the water. Windy looks out the window, "Interesting place, isn't it?" Cooper froze. He forgot where he was. He didn't even ask WHERE he was. He got up slowly, and Windy looked at him. She shrugged and pulled another chair for him. The chair was wooden, and looked like it had been ravaged by a wolf of some sort. He limped over and sat down. All he saw was trees. Trees, shrubs and little birds pecking at the ground. Windy sighs, "I can't remember the last time I saw home..." Cooper looked down, trying to fight off the tears...
*flashback*
"C'mon Cooper!" Little 10-year-old Cooper runs after his friend, Lauren. They run and run, and they come across a large building. Lauren looks up, it was so tall. She looks at Cooper, her eyes sparkling, "Let's go in!" "Uhm, I don't think that's a good idea..." Cooper says softly. Lauren sighs, "Whatever. I will go in, then meet you out here." She disappears into the building, her brown hair a light in the night. Cooper stands there for minutes. Minutes stretch into hours. "Lauren, come back now...?" He yells, but all he hears is the echo of his own voice. He begins stepping towards the building when a monstrosity comes out. It looked like a wolf. No, it couldn't be. It had rabbit ears for Notch's sake. It's crystal blue eyes lit up the area. Cooper steps back, the being steps forward. It growls, almost like a tiger's roar, and begins chasing Cooper. Cooper runs as fast as his little legs can take him.
-3 years later-
Cooper sighs. He is lost. He pulls out a photo and looks at it, when suddenly it has a hole in it. He looks up, and is face-to-face with the being. He begins running and running, snapping branches and hurting himself.
*end of flashback*
There is a pool of tears on the floor, and Windy is already cleaning it up. Cooper sobbed once more, and touches his forehead. The bandage is still wet. He turns to Windy and points to the bandage. As if reading his mind, she opens the drawer to get a bandage, when suddenly, a large red and black being smashes through the window. Windy screams, and shuts the drawer on her hands. Cooper jumps up, and looks at it. The being's red and black fur are ruffled, and the rabbit ears are curled back. It's wolf tail sweeps Windy off her feet, and she lands with an 'oof'. Cooper scowls, and the being growls back in return. He brings back his hand to whack the being, when suddenly, everything goes black.

Chapter Three

Cooper woke up on the hospital floor, his bandage off and his forehead stinging. He looks around, and all there is is ravaged sheets, but no Windy to be seen. He looks at the window, which is still smashed with some fur on it. He takes a piece and examines it. No, it can't be natural. He feels it, and it is rough. Artifical. He goes into a slow jog, and begins calling for Windy. Cooper shakes his head, "She's alive, she's alive, she's alive..." After an hour, he sits down in the kitchen. The being took Windy. He had checked everywhere. He plants his face in his hands and cries and cries.

Lauren's POV:
It was weird like this. Lauren picked off any remaining fur, and continued dragging Windy by the hand. She was still unconsious, so that helped. Lauren finally made it to her den where she dragged her onto her stone bed. She was heavy, so it took a while. Lauren puffed and touched her arm, wincing at the pain. It had scarred her for life. She is an outlaw now. Lauren walked over to her drawer which she had stolen, and took out a staff and a bell. She laid them on the floor and began ringing the bell. It echoed through the den, when a large bat-like being slowly walked towards her. She stopped ringing it and looked up at the bat-being. It bowed in her prescence, and said in a soft, croaky voice, "A new subject, I'm guessing?" Lauren growls. The batbeing was surprised. She was surprised herself, her wolf growl is still the same. She looks at Windy, who is in a peaceful slumber, "We need to change her, she hasn't changed in a long time," she says in a dark voice. Her voice had changed since they modified her. Ruined her. The batbeing looked at Windy and walked over, dragging it's large wings across the dirt, "She looks weak." "That's because she hasn't changed, peabrain." The batbeing whimpers in offence, and begins walking to Lauren's drawer, "You have all the ingredients?" "Every. Single. One," Lauren walks over to the draw, her wolf tail dragging across with her, "Even more powerful ones. Make her better when she does change." The batbeing smirks and looks over to Windy. "Soon, you will know what it's like to be hated."

Chapter Four
I
t is a long night. Cooper had been sitting in his chair, crying until there was nothing else to cry out. He felt weak, and limp. He got up slowly, "I have to find Windy," he said out-loud. His voice echoed in the empty hospital. He picked up a shard of glass from the window and put it in his pocket. He touched the wound on his head, he didn't need a bandage. His shoes were ripped, so he had to change them. He winced as he pulled out shards of window from the bottom of his feet. He ran his fingers through his hair as if it was silk, then he began
running.

"Hurry up," Lauren snapped at the batbeing, "Seriously, Raffle?" She cursed and it echoed, and the batbeing looked up at her, "Sorry..." Lauren smacked Raffle with her wolf tail, and he brought up his soft, fragile bat wings in retaliation. Lauren pursed her lips, "Poor little bat," she ruffled his wings and walked over to the sleeping Windy. She watched as her eyelids glowed from her blue eyes, "She has the blue eyes," she turns her head, "Why hasn't she changed?" Raffle raised his wings, as if he was shrugging. He winced as he did this -- he was getting old. Lauren kneeled down and her eyes flashed a light blue. Raffle nodded and Lauren placed her hand on Windy's head.

He ran for hours. He stopped here and there for rest, but he kept running. Cooper stopped as he saw a den. Sweat dripped from his brow, not knowing what to do. Is that the being's den? he wondered. He scratched his head and took out the large piece of glass, which had cracked slightly as he was running. He sighed and gripped it tightly, and began walking to the den.

"Done," Lauren sighed. It took forever, but they watched as Windy's body curved over and began shaking quite violently, "She should be ready in about a minute." Raffle watched over Windy as Lauren walked over to the drawer. As soon as she opened it, a loud, HEY! echoed through the den. Raffle and Lauren both turned and saw Cooper standing there. Lauren's eyes glistened with tears but she growled. Cooper looked around, and his eyes widened at the sight of Lauren. Both in awe and anger, "It's you..." Lauren scowled, and began walking towards Windy, revealing her black and red tail. Cooper stamped his foot, enraged, "First you ruin my life, then you take away the only friend I have," he paused as he gripped the glass tighter, "What have you done?!" Lauren smirked as her eyes began glowing blue again, and she faced Windy. Cooper glanced at Windy, and opened his mouth to scream.

What the heck happened?! he thought. He gripped his glass shard tighter than ever, to the point he started to bleed lightly. Windy was not the nurse he had known. Now she looks like a large phoenix. Her eyes glowed black and her wings stretched out as she growled at Cooper. Cooper cursed, and watched as Lauren walked off with a batbeing. What the he-- He was cut off when the-now-ruined Windy pounced onto him, squawking and screeching. Cooper raised the glass and knocked Windy off. He puffed out air and began making his way towards Lauren. She scowled, "You have no business here, Cooper," Cooper shook his head and gripped the glass tighter. Lauren continued in a dark, menacing voice, "You have changed." Cooper smirked, "I also know another thing that has changed." Lauren scowled at the insult, and hunched over, "Let me show you what has changed then," Cooper widened his eyes and scowled. He watched as Lauren went from a human to a large black and red beast. Her blue eyes stared at him, mocking him. Cooper raised the glass, then there was black.

"Hurry up!" Lauren peered over at Cooper, who was in a deep slumber, "If he wakes up, then Windy might ru--" Raffle growled, "I know, I know!" His voice was raspy and rough. It was deeper too, and he recently had been sick, "Where's Windy?" Lauren looked over at the unconsious Windy, who had been knocked out by Cooper. Her wings were sprawled and her eyes glowed under her eyelids. Lauren walked over to her, her paws leaving light prints in the dirt. She smacked her with her own forehead, stumbling a bit from the impact. Windy shot up and began flying around, squawking and knocking things over. Raffle gasped and flew as he caught the ingredients and Lauren jumped up, snatching Windy by the wing with her jaws. Windy stopped and turned into a human and winced as Lauren was still biting her. She growled and let go, transforming into a human with her, "Don't sleep on the job." Windy growled, still in her nurse uniform. Her eyes glowed as she walked out, pointing at Cooper, "Get the stuff, we need to go." Raffle looked at her with his wings raised and nodded, and they all exited the den as if nothing had happened.

Chapter Five
They had walked for what seemed hours at the most, and Raffle was beginning to tire. They rotated, taking turns at holding the ingredients. Eventually that all let Windy carry it, since her phoenix wings could withstand the weight. They walked until Lauren pulled them down behind a bush,

"Look," she whispered quietly, her eyes illuminating the area, "a city." They all looked at the city, which had a tall skyscraper and lots of lights flickering. Her eyes glistened, she had not seen civilisation for ages. Raffle clicked his fingers and instantly became a tall boy. His blonde hair went over his eye, and his choker stood out. He kneeled down and drew a path in the dirt. Windy turned her head, "What are you--" "Shhh," Raffle insisted, as he grabbed a Lifeblossom from Windy's wing. He tossed it onto the dirt and a smoke cloud appeared. A map of the whole city appeared, glowing brightly. Lauren smirked, and began looking through the city.

He had been in a slumber for ages. He woke up with his neck aching and his fingers still bleeding from the glass. He looked around and saw nothing but cave walls.

He sighed and rolled over, falling off the stone bed and falling onto the hard floor. Ugh, he thought in his head, I miss them again. He stood up, wincing as he did, and brushed himself off. He looked at the ground and saw many footsteps. A clawprint, a pawprint and some sort of footprint. He sighed and began following them.

After what seemed a couple of hours, he stumbled across a dead end. He looked down, the footprints instantly disappear. Cooper looked around, seeing if there was anyway they could've 'jumped'. He sighed and looked up. His eyes widened at the amazing sight of civilisation, "OH MY GOD!" shrieked he, "I HAVE FINALLY FOUND IT!" He began sprinting towards his only hope.

They finally breathed in, wheezing from holding their breath. Windy coughs and sputters, and Raffle just shrugs. Lauren scowls at them both, "This is why we should've flown." "That's impossible, you can only turn into a wolf," Windy informed Lauren, "You would leave footsteps no matter what." "Unless one of you carried me," Lauren snapped, "All well..." They remained silent for a bit, before Raffle finally spoke up, "We should go to the city," "Are you crazy?!" Lauren stood up, "We're outlaws, and if they find out we're--"

Windy coughed, and they both looked at her. She winked, "I hope you realise we don't have to state our real names." Raffle looked at her, eyes widened, "And if they do find out our names?" "Then we can do what we should've done before," she paused for a dramatic effect (xD), "Fly."

He ran and ran and ran. His eyes glistened with tears, until Cooper finally came across a police station. He ran in, bursting through the double doors until security took him to a room, "So, repeat it again, please?" asked one of the officers, his arms tight. His uniform was too small on him, "All details." Cooper breathed in, and told him the whole story. The officer looked at him for a while, until he began laughing, "I don't believe that, minor. A wolf girl, a bat and a phoenix? What are you in, narnia?"

He stood up, "I, Officer Williams, dismiss you." "But sir, I--" "But nothing. You and your stupid fantasies have wasted my lunch break. Now scurry off, fiend." Officer Williams snapped and kicked him out, literally, and sat at his desk. He turned on his computer and began watching Netflix, stuffing his face with pizza. Cooper scowled and walked out, until he saw someone that he had to talk to.

Chapter Six
He ran to her, his eyes glistening with tears. It was her, it was her. It was her.

They slowly walked to the city, Lauren's hair out, Windy's hair in a bun and Raffle's hair nontouched. As they walked on the path, Lauren had to resist the urge to growl at people who smirked at their hair colour. Hers was black and crimson, Windy's was still pink and Raffle was plain old blonde.

She sighed, "Let's find a hotel or something," she yawns, "I'm tired." Raffle ignored her and began to pace. Windy stopped, "What the heck are you doing Raffle?" "Don't interrupt my thinking," he snapped. He turned around, "Follow me." They went into a slow job after Raffle, which eventually unfolded into a run. Lauren didn't get tired at all, her wolf genes helped with that.

They came across a large building, and Lauren stumbled back as an image hit her mind. Saws. Needles. She fell to the ground, panting and gasping. Her creator. Her ruiner. She shakes her head and Windy helps her out, "What... are you OK?" Lauren nodded, but she wasn't. Images flowed into her mind and she did the best she could to block them out. Raffle opened his mouth to speak when suddenly, he dropped to the floor.

It was her. He held her for ages, she held her back. Cooper's eyes glistened with tears, and they created moist paths down his cheek. His mother was here. She cried into his dark brown hair, letting the tears fall. They had been hugging each other passionately for ages, until Cooper looked up, "Mother, I need to tell you something," he gulped, "Do you have a house?" His mother chuckled and began to walk to her house.

It took a while, but they made it to her house. As soon as he walked into the door, he opened the fridge and devoured all the food he could find. From raw meat to ice-cold sausages. His mother gagged as he did this, eventually having to pull him away. She sobbed and pointed down the hall, and Cooper saw something.

His room. he walked in and peered down at the minature bed. His eyes travelled around the room. Pictures. Toys. Technology. Things he had not seen for ages. His mother sobbed more, "I was about to give up on you," she took a deep breath, "Three years, no Cooper. But then, a typical walk to the market... and you came back..." she rubbed her eyes as if she didn't believe it, but then opened them, and embraced her son once more. She stuttered and choked on a word she hadn't said for three years... "Son..."

Lauren gasped and kneeled down to look at the unconsious Raffle. She looked around, there was no attacker. Shock, maybe? Another thud hit the ground, and she looked behind her. Windy dropped down too. Her breathing increased and Lauren began to panic. Then she saw her attacker. She looked up and saw someone who she would doubt hit her companions.

"December..." Lauren began to growl at the glowing attacker. Her lush green hair was like a spotlight in the night. Her whole body glowed and she was holding a fence post, "December..." December's body trembled as she lept forward to hug Lauren. "I am so sorry... So so sorry..." She sniffed back tears and Lauren began to feel awkward, "I thought they were attacking you. I really did." December looked back and her eyes looked at Lauren's glowing blue eyes, "Oh god," she stood back, "They changed you too?" Lauren nodded slowly. December touched her forehead with the back of her hand, "Come on, we can't be here." She hunched over as she became a dragon whelp and carried Lauren, Raffle and Windy over the hills and away from their only civilisation and towards their long-lost friend's house. Cooper.

Chapter Six
His mother talked for ages, talking how his father went out looking for him and other tragedies. Cooper sat there silently, letting the English words fall back into his mind, "Excuse me for a moment," said his mother. She got up and got her car keys, "I forgot to get the groceries," she kissed his forehead and opened the front door, the Sun lightening up the house, "Be back soon." And the house became darkened again once she closed the door. Cooper sighed and stood up from the kitchen table, slowly walking to his room, dragging his hands on the wall.

When he finally reached his room he laid down on his bed, letting his head tip back and create a dip in the pillow. He shot up when he heard tapping on the window. Some sort of bird? He looked at the window and quickly scooched back when he saw Lauren. As a beast. Along with that bat being, Windy and some sort of dragon. He looked around, looking for the nearest weapon, when the dragon was shaking her head repeatively. He stopped and looked at Lauren, a hint of innocence glowing in her eyes.

He looked at December, as if talking to each other. Lauren sighed and looked at Raffle, who was standing there patiently. Windy sighed as she clenched her fist. Lauren looked down at the dirt beneath their feet, then looked around. If someone found us, we would be taken to a compound. Lauren gave up. Her wolf instincts took over.

She barged through the window and grabbed Cooper by the collar with her jaws, and gosh, he was light. All that running she made him do must've made him fitter and lighter. She jumped back through the window, looking at Windy. Windy nodded and in a flash of an eye, became the phoenix Cooper did not know. She grabbed Cooper and Lauren, and Raffle grabbed her. December just flew up next to them. Raffle gasped as they weighed him down, but he strained his wings, and they flew back to the city.

He gasped and sputtered as he looked down, he looked up and saw the innocence in Lauren's eyes. She was looking down too, as if she was mapping the area. Cooper looked at Windy, she was still the Windy he knew inside. Her eyes looked sweet, and forgiving. Not aggressive and hatred as they say in the myths. He looked at the batbeing, Raffle as Lauren called it, he pondered in his mind, Interesting. He looked at Raffle's wings, they were straining and looked like soft paper.

An hour passed, and they finally made it to the city. Windy carried everyone the rest of the way, since Raffle fainted. They found a clearing and landed. Lauren jumped off, letting her paws sink into the dirt. her ears flicked up as she heard a movement in the bushes, and she lept in. Windy opened her eyes in worry, and held up her wings. A wolf -- Lauren -- jumped back out with a bird in her jaws. A turkey. From the city, supposedly.

The bird in her jaws was rich. Lauren walked over, dropped the bird on the floor. As if she knew what to do, Windy walked over and screeched at the bird, warming up her phoenix body. Eventually they cooked the turkey, and all ate it. All but Cooper. No doubt. December looked up and Cooper, and leant over to Lauren, "Who's that?" "Cooper," she stopped and flashed her eyes at December, "And you are to NOT harm him." December growled and became a dragon whelp again, "I will be back," and she set off.

Chapter Six

Cooper gagged as he watched everyone else munch down on the turkey. He looked at the dragon whelp as she flew away, her blue wings a flash. He looked down at his own stomach, which happened to be growling. Raffle shrugged his wings and walked over to him and sat down. Cooper looked away, avoiding conversation. If the thing could even talk. He finally looked at Raffle, who seemed to look sad, "What is it like being a trueborn?" Cooper raised an eyebrow, "A what...?" "A trueborn," Raffle looked at him, his eyes piercing, "One that is born with true human blood." Cooper looked down, "Fine, I guess," he looked up once more, but Raffle was turned away, "What's it like being a..." he looked at his fragile bat wings, his blonde, ruffly hair, his little tail, "...thing?" Raffle sighed and stood up, looking at him in the eye, "Horrible," he turned to Lauren, "I will go find December." He raised his wings and in a blink of an eye he was gone. December was the whelp... he will remember that. Cooper laid down on the soft grass and fell into a deep sleep.

She sat there, looking at Windy who looked back at her. She tipped her head back and opened her beak, squawking at some birds that were being annoying. Lauren sighed, and picked up a rock with her jaws. She nibbled it, creating dents in the stone. She placed it back down and became human. Her purple hair draped over her, and her bow was still in place. She wrapped her wolf tail around her as she too, fell asleep.

He woke up and looked around, saw only Windy and Lauren. No December nor Raffle. Cooper sighed and looked at the rock that Lauren had nibbled, Gosh, he paused and looked at Lauren, then back at the stone, She has strong teeth. He stood up and squinted as he saw two beasts in the sky, seeming to be biting each other. Cooper ran a bit closer and saw that the two beasts were December and Raffle. He sprinted back to Windy and kicked her side, angering her. Windy because she was a phoenix, expected it to be Raffle and December. A woosh of air came and blew the leaves around as Windy jumped off, crashing into December and Raffle. He sighed and woke up Lauren, who immediately stood up, "..." she said nothing at all, instead just raised her hand, and Raffle stopped and flew down to her, slamming December on the hard dirt floor.

Lauren sighed. She looked at December, her green hair over her eyes. She kneeled down, and moved the hair out of her eyes, then nodded to Raffle. Raffle grunted as he released her, standing back with wings raised, ready for another fight. December grunted and groaned as she sat up, letting her green hair fall back onto her head. She dragged Lauren away from Raffle, and looked at her in the eye, "Help me," December pleaded, her eyes watering, "I can't help it." There were screeches and thumps and groans. Lauren and December ran and saw Windy on the floor, most likely unconsious. Raffle looked up, "They are going insane," his eyes glowed with innocence, "Insane."

He watched the whole thing. He watched as Raffle blew out Windy's flames, making her drop to the floor. Her body did not move, but she looked alive. Cooper closed his mouth as Raffle growled at him, then faced Lauren, looking all innocent. I knew I never trusted that thing, he thought, Knew it. Lauren looked down at Windy, then up at Raffle. December just stared off into the distance, before she growled. Raffle dropped down onto the floor, and everything went black.

Chapter Seven
"December..." Lauren's voice was soothing, but had hints of aggression in it, "What. Have. You. Done?" December growled then looked at her, "You can't trust your companions," she smiled, revealing razor sharp teeth, "You can only trust me." Lauren stepped back, walking over Raffle's unconsious body, "I can't trust you," she growled, and kneeled down, "You are aggressive, you are rude, you are not Decem--" Before Lauren could finish, December pounced onto her, her eyes glowing with rage, "Take that back!" She snapped, "Take it all back!" December's hands closed around Lauren's neck. Lauren gasped and sputtered before she kicked December off and in a flash, became a wolf. December growled, "You will not beat me into submission," her voice was distorted and odd, "You will not."

Lauren pounced, biting her pressure point. She widened her eyes and jumped off when she heard the snapping of wires and metal. She looked up at December, and watched as her eyes flashed colours so fast Lauren's sight could not register them. December dropped to the floor, a large CLUNK. Lauren cautiously walked over to December, then, using her paws, began to disassemble her. There were wires with odd labels, but one thing that intrigued Lauren was a little remote inside of one of the compartments. Using her jaws, she lightly picked it up and placed it on the ground. Control Ball, Lauren read.

He woke up with his wrist hurting. Something had hit his pressure point. He looked up and saw a wolf, Lauren, looking down at a glowing ball. It had buttons and wires sticking out of it, and it read 'Control Ball'. Cooper widened his eyes, then faced Raffle. 'December' had controlled Raffle to knockout Windy, and then knockout himself. Cooper crawled over to Raffle, moving his blonde hair out of the way. His wings were around his chest too. He began shaking him with something growled behind him. He turned and saw Lauren, shaking her head. She slowly made her way to Raffle, then her eyes flashed purple for a second, then back to blue. Raffle sputtered and woke up, breathing heavily, "It was fast," he spoke quickly, and his voice was rasp, "It was like a flash, I couldn't help it, it was not my fault!" "Calm down," Cooper said, "Slow down." Raffle looked from Lauren to Cooper, from Cooper to Lauren, "I'm so sorry," his eyes glowed with pure innocence and he stood up and flew away.

She sighed. Her wolf instincts was to control Raffle to come back, but she guessed he needed the alone time. She faced Windy, whom's flames had burned out. Lauren gasped then sprinted to Windy, shaking her desperately. Windy's lifeless wings shook, but there was no response. Lauren placed her wolf ears to Windy's feathered chest. Dum... dum... dum.......dum..... The heartbeat became slower and slower. Lauren sobbed as she began shaking her more, whimpering in loss. Cooper sat there, lightly sobbing too. Lauren placed her ears to Windy's chest once more, Dum.......dum...........d........um........... It was a long silence, and Windy's chest stopped. Lauren, unable to contain her grief, fell to the floor and laid there.

She must've died. Cooper wiped his eyes, trying to avoid the tears. His only true friend, his saviour. Dead. Gone. He stumbled over to Windy, placing his head to Windy's chest too. He was tiny compared to Windy. He heard nothing, just pure silence. He looked over at Lauren, who seemed to had fainted. Cooper laid down and did the same. He cried and cried until he could cry nothing out.

There was a clashing of metal and springs. Lauren woke up, head throbbing and the dirt beneath her is wet. She faces Windy, who is still on the floor, lifeless. She looks around and sees Raffle, who also seems to be crying. She crawls over to Raffle, "It's okay," she soothed, "It wasn't your fault." Raffle nodded and stood up, looking at Cooper, then Windy, "It's not as hard for you," he sobbed, "She was like a sister to me." Raffle, unable to contain his grief, flopped to the floor.

Lauren looked around as she heard more muffled voices. Metal. Springs. She heard cogs whirring, and out of nowhere, two cat like robots appear in front of her. She hunches over and turns into a wolf, then barks at the cats. They look at each other, and a silver one steps in front of the other. The silver one had multiple holes in its body, with green gas leaking out. The other one was a pure white, with flame in its eyes. Raffle woke up, and flashed out his wings, attempting to scare the cats away. Windy laid there lifeless, and Cooper was still asleep. The cats walked around them, mocking them. "Such a waste of flesh," said the silver one in a crackling, dark voice. It echoed, with no sign of caves around. The white one snickered, "What. A. Waste," it spoke in a monotone voice, with a hint of sweetness in it, "Too bad the creators made this choice." Lauren's eyes widened, "You mentioned, creators?" She said in a deep voice, because she was still wolf. The cats looked at each other then at Lauren, "Your creators request the demise of their failed creations," they smirked and their eyes glowed, and they leaned back in a pouncing position, "And you are one of them."

Chapter Eight
He woke up as he heard an argument. Cooper opened his eyes slowly, and immediately jumped back as he saw a large, crystal white robot, kinda like a cat, walking around them. He turned and saw a large, silver, rusty one. It had gas leaking from openings in it's body. "I am NOT a creation," yelped Lauren, "I am a normal person in a normal world." The white cat snickered, then slowly cuts her fur, holding it up to the Sun. Purple and blue shimmered on the fur, "'Normal'," it continued, "I never knew in this world, a human with dragon and wolf DNA, was classified as 'normal'. Such a pity," it threw it into her mouth and a sizzle was heard. Cooper opened his eyes, Lauren was part dragon?!

Lauren growled more, and faced Raffle. Still unconsious. She glanced at Cooper, and gave him the knowing look. Cooper nodded and began waking up Raffle. "So, you failiors going to come with us?" The silver one crackled, "Or will we make you?" "I'm not going anywhere," Lauren barked, "And you will NOT make me." The white one spoke in a sweet voice, almost knocking Lauren into a sleep, "What else do you have to do?" Lauren shook her head, "First of all, one of your robotic CLONES killed my best friend." The silver one laughed maniacally, "She is not killed," it walked over to Windy, and it's eyes flashed from green to blue, to green once more, "She is in a severe coma." Lauren widened her eyes, "But, but, but her heart has stopped beating!" The white one shook its head, "Now I see what the creator means by 'failed'," it snickered, "Phoenixes, when they die, collapse into an egg to be reborn once more. Meaning Windy cannot fully--" Lauren turned her head, and flicked her tail, "How do you know her name?" It sighed, and cogs turned and whirlled in the silence, "Just listen. The heart stops when there is no flames to pump, in this case, the robot--" "The robot?" "Yes, the robot the creator sends out to spy, and either classify you as failed, or healthy." "So December... is still out there?" The white one stopped, for a second, and kept talking to avoid conversation about December, "Anyways, the robot blew out the flames, to see if Windy would collapse into an egg, or just be in a coma. Because she is in a coma, she is considered healthy."

Hours went by, and Cooper had woken up Raffle. His neck hurt badly though, so he had to remain lying down. He spoke here and there, though, "So, you are saying we are failed experiments?" "Yes," replied the silver one, "And you are commanded to--" Cooper stood up in a rage, "NO ONE COMMANDS THEM," he spoke in a surprisingly fierce voice, "THEY ARE FREE, AND THEY ARE NOT FAILED. IF ANYTHING, THEY HAVE A DESTINY, UNLIKE YOU FAILED EXPERIMENTS WHO WASTE THE LAST BITS OF THEIR," he pauses to look at them. They were not living, "ROBOTIC LIVES, CHASING AFTER OTHER EXPERIMENTS." The white one looked down, "I have been here far longer than you, trueblood. And what you say is true," it looked over to the silver one, who had green gas leaking from it's eyes. Supposedly crying, "We were created to do this. It was all planned. The creator experimented, then after a while, sends out scouts. If any failed experiments are returned, they are--" "Destroyed," finishes the silver one. Raffle tries to lean up, but falls back down, "What about the other scouts?" The silver one falls to the ground and the white one's flaming eyes stop burning and begin to leak tears, "They were failed ones. The creator demolished them and the failed experiments in front of us," she paused as she choked on her own words, "If we do not come back, he will come after us." "He?" Raffle and Lauren asked. The silver one looked up, "He."

After negotiating, they agree to a truce. Lauren looked at them, to break the long silence, "What are your names?" The white one placed a robotic paw to its chest, "I am Charlize," it said, "And this is my partner, Charder." Raffle laughed, "Wait, wait, wait. You two are in a relationship?" Charder growled as more gas flowed from his eyes. Charlize sighed, "Yes. If you have heard of us, we were one of his best creations. A living weapon," she walked around them, "We were sent out to different countries, and came back with positive results. I was well known as the 'Exploder' and Charder as the--" "Explosive?" Cooper said, standing up, "I have heard of you. On the TV. You were the ones who blew up the place in--" "Yes, yes, yes, that's enough information, trueblood. Anyways, when we returned with great results, the creator kept us as his own, then used us as scouts." The silver one growled, "It was horrifying." Lauren smiled and became human, then pointed at everyone, "Why don't you come with us? We're an adventure story in the making." Charlize faced Charder, and she looked at them, "We'll be characters." Charder growled lightly, "Protect us in return. We cannot be failed ones." Lauren smiled, "You have my word."

Chapter Eight
"You think we can trust them?" Cooper asked Raffle, as they walked side by side. Charlize and Charder offered to take them to their den. Lauren groaned and puffed as she dragged Windy's body with her. Raffle shrugged, lifting up dirt with his wings, "If Lauren trusts them, I trust them. I don't trust that Charder guy." A growl was heard behind them, "Watch out, batman," Charder barked, "I swear I will kill you." Raffle turned around, he towered Charder greatly, "I don't think so," he leans closely, revealing fangs and sharp teeth. Charder widened his eyes and moved backwards, "Dead things can't kill," Raffle said quietly, which was more intimidating, "So I suggest you don't try." "You're saying I am dead, batman?" "You were never alive," Raffle smirked and kept walking as Charder sat there for a second. He ran to the front and gave Raffle a dirty glare before turning to the front.

Thiss is a really good story but one thing confuses me. Why did Copper go from running from them and hating them To suddently trusting them and tagging along dident they just try to kill him? And why did he just ditch his mom after years of being alone then finally finding her?

As a bat, he has large fragile wings (so you can see bones easily) and he is quite tall. He stands on two legs, and has blonde, ruffly hair. (Given the name, Raffle, for a reason) He has aqua blue eyes.

As a human, he wears gray clothes, has blonde hair and is very tall. He is skinny too. :3

Is his skin/fur color in anthro form grey like a regular bat or blonde?
