Terrain map

-a lord of the rings server

Hi all minecrafters and Lord of the Rings fans!

as some of you already know i'm making a huge Lord of the rings mod which will be on our server called: The Valar Project.

for the last month i've been trying to make a very large terrain map which now is succesfully avaible to edit and export (the problem was every time i tried to export it, it crashed).

Bree region done 02/12 - 2012

The shire region done 03/12 - 2012

Oiolad region done 03/12 - 2012

Buckland region done - 04/12 - 2012

Fangorn forrest region done - 04/12 - 2012

the weather hills & weathertop region done - 04/12 - 2012

The valley of Anduin region done - 05/12- 2012

LothLórien region is done - 09/12 - 2012




basic scale info


terrain scale:1:12,5

location scale: 1:2

location scale (based on movie scale): 1:1 and 1:1,5 in some cases.




here is a list with locations the terrain map will contain when it is done:
Locations
Weathertop, rivendell, goblintown, hobbiton, bree (and the rest of breeland), fornost, annúminas, fennas drúnin, thalion, sarn ford, tharbad, lond daer, dun larach, ost-en-edhil, moria/ khazad-dum, caras galadhon, helms deep, isengard, fords of isen, entmoot, lond angren, argond, 70% of the shire, all of buckland, tom bombadils house and many many more.

he he great just register on our website. when the server re-opens (realese date found on website), then you will have a chance to prove your skills & will. if you're a good builder or anything alike then you wll get promoted ;)

hey,
I really enjoy doing interior work and adding the final touches to buildings also I can help with the building. since i have no life I would be on the server most of the time ( I'm a really dedicated person when it comes to things i like doing like this :))

sounds great have you any experience using the mod called littleblocks? cause we will use a feature like that in our mod (Awaken Dreams). it will give us the posebility to add smaller details. and it will be used for all the statues we make ;)

if I'm accepted i'll be sure to learn actually i'll go watch some videos and tutorials about it!

of course you're accepted but i think most of the jobs first will be able after christmas :P cause we are making the terrain at the moment :)

i've already seen it before. but why should i look at it? it's only lotr inspired, it's far from correct.
