Okay,this is the first snapshot of 2013 and it has WAY more new items.All of these new items have to do with Redstone.

Okay lets start simple.First new we have a new way to make Nether Brick Blocks.You can smelt Netherrack and you get the new Nether Brick items.Then craft a Nether Brick Block with 4 Nether Bricks.Now you don't need to find a Nether Fortress anymore to get this block.There is also a new ore in the Nether.It is the Nether Quartz Ore.Mine it,and you will receive Nether Quartz.Nether Quartz is used to craft a Daylight Sensor,another new block.It is just a solar panel,the higher the light level,the longer the Redstone it produces reaches.Next,4 Redstone crafts a Redstone Block which just produces Redstone power and activates doors,pistons,etc.Another new block,the Trapped Chest produces Redstone power when opened.The more people are looking in the chest,the further the Redstone power goes.For example,if 7 people open the chest,then the Redstone power goes for 7 blocks far.There are also Hoppers that are funnels.The Comparator,takes two Redstone lines,and sees whose power comes closer.For example,if one line has been powered from 7 blocks away and the other has been powered 5 blocks away,the Comparator takes the Redstone line that is 5 blocks away and continues it.But it DOESN'T act like a Repeater.It only does if you activate the 3 Redstone Torch,but it doesn't work for now.
