Hey guys, Greytopher here with a quick tutorial. I hope you all enjoy!

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE STONE SLAB?!

You mean the flat sided stone slab? The one with the ID number of 43:6? Yeah, it's no longer that ID number! What a surprise!

I logged on this morning to find a city (that I was making a cinematic of) look from this:

To this:

And I thought: great, now the stone slab is gone! All of our cities made out of this block will now be gone. But no! It's still here!

How do you get it back, you ask? Well, we figured out that that the new ID number for the slab is 43:7. I don't know why they changed the block ID, so don't ask me why they did! It only confuses players even more... but anyways!

I hope this helps all of those who are freaked out by the change.

Thanks for that! But I still can't find it on TMI 1.4.6, need to use a wooden axe to replace blocks :/

To be fair, the slab wasn't official (it wasn't used in-game), and as such it shouldn't really be a big issue if it changes. Also, the block data value is being used for the Nether Brick Slab, hence the weird change.

Well of course, though since many people (and I assume Mojang) know of the block, changing it will, shall we say, cause havoc to those who use it frequently. But thank you for the explanation on why it was changed, I know I was confused.

Yeah it's true. To be honest I like that stone double slab more than the regular ones.
