Since the release of 1.7 servers are now able to have a "server icon" displayed next to their name in the server list this short tutorial shows you how to display an image next to your own multiplayer server.

1. Create an icon that is 64x64 (pixels) on photoshop or another editor of your choice that can export .png files

2. Call the file "server-icon" and save it as a .png (be careful because other file formats won't show)

3. Place the image in the root of your Minecraft folder (this is the same place as your minecraft.jar, craftbukkit.jar, spigot.jar [depending upon which one you are using])

DONE

Note: If the image does not appear immediately then wait a couple of minutes and restart your Minecraft and check again.
