When and how did you start making datapacks?
I started making datapacks around a year ago. I was already pretty interested in minecraft commands and map making, so I did some research and started making my manhunt Datapack. Seeing the popularity it got (which I was not expecting at all xD) I decided to make more, learning along the way.
What was your most popular datapack?
My most popular Datapack was my Lucky Blocks datapack! It took a while to make and I’m really proud of how it turned out in the end so, yeah :)Who do you think most helped you on your journey to now?
All of the PMC community helped me to get to this point and without them I would have given up ages ago, PMC is a great community to get feedback and determination from
What would you say to people wanting to get started with datapacks?
Just go for it, there’s nothing you can lose by trying. Don’t give up, try hard to finish your end goal, ask as many questions as you need, and then at the end look back at your hard work :)
Do you know any other languages them McFunction?
I do, I know Python, some JavaScript, HTML+CSS, and a very small amount of C# :D
How much money have you made with your datapacks?
Honestly, I try not to focus on this that much. As a partner of Bisect Hosting, I have a referral link (bisecthosting.com/quack) which people can use and I can get a small percentage of their payments. Other than that, not much at all. As I said, I make datapacks for the fun of it, I don’t really mind what I get in return :)
Would you tell your past self to focus on datapcks?
Honestly, probably yes. There are larger Datapack creators who started around the same time as me and have grown more. I didn’t really spend my whole time doing datapacks, but now I’m doing it more and doing it properly I’ve grown quite a lot. I would tell myself to stay doing it and try to push myself to the limits
How did you get inroduced to Minecraft?
My sister showed it to me :D. I wasn’t even good at it (I didn’t play it much at all) until I started playing it more and more, and the rest is history :DD

When and how did you start making datapacks?
I got interested in commands a few years ago when i still played pocked edition. After switching to java i learned about the difference between the commands of both versions and practiced a bit with the java commands. I then found (idk how) out about datapacks and started making them about two years ago (they were pretty unoptimised at the start tho and i haven’t uploaded any of my very early datapacks)
What was your most popular datapack?
This one (https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/player-npcs/) even tho the code is horribly written and i don't get why it blew up... probably only because dream is in the thumbnail
Who do you think most helped you on your journey to now?
Defenitely Cloud Wolf and Timberforge (both youtubers)
What would you say to people wanting to get started with datapacks?
Don't watch to many tutorials. Just experiment with commands on your own. Also don't necessarily upload your first datapacks... they might seem cool to you but you will realise how badly they are written and that you can optimize them a lot later.
Do you know any other languages them McFunction?
I know basic Python and am looking forward to learn more of it/other languages
How much money have you made with your datapacks?
Exactly $0. But I'm fine with that. I don't really need money/want to earn money with datapacks at the moment. I got asked if i could make (paid) commissions multiple times but i said no all of it.
Would you tell your past self to focus on datapcks?
Nah
How did you get inroduced to Minecraft?
I have no idea tbh. I think it has something to do with my neighbors tho... they had a similar game...

stay determined because maybe if you not know anything about programming this will be a difficult hard to learn especially the store
