  • There are no traditional flowers in this biome. There are only pink petals which you can always find on the ground.
  • Compared to the Plaine biome and some of the other biomes found in the game, the grass and water are a lighter shade.
  • This temperature is very neutral and there is even an orange temperate variant found in the Minecraft frogs.
  • The cherry groves usually make themselves at the very bottom layer of the mountains.

You Can Grow Cherry Trees



You can actually take the cherry groves out of the biome and grow saplings in other biomes so that you can have cherry trees wherever you are.


If you want to grow cherry trees, try doing the following:

  1. Find a cherry tree and then break some of the leaves. Keep in mind there is only a 50% chance of the leaves dropping a sapling so you will need to break quite a few if you want to find more than one sapling.

  2. Once you have the sapling, either use the secondary action key or right-click it to begin planting. You can plant the sapling on any land of dirt blocks or moss blocks. If you want a large cherry tree, you need to place it in a large empty area with 9 empty blocks on the top.

  3. Now comes the waiting part as you need to wait for the sapling to grow into a tree. If you want to speed up the process, try adding bonemeal. Otherwise, you will need to wait about 20 minutes for the tree to be fully grown.

There are Many Ores in the Biome



Since there are many mountains in the cherry grove biome, you’ll be able to find endless ores including gold, emeralds, coal, and iron. The biome offers many different blocks as well including pink petals, grass blocks, cherry logs, grass, and cherry leaves, and nests from bees.


Most of the resources can be found in random holes, cave openings, and cracks.


Most players find that the things they find in the cherry grove biome are perfect for adding decorations and new things to their homes. If you can find some bamboo in a different biome, you can even add them together and see that you have a new bright, and beautiful home and property.

The Mobs in the Cherry Grove Biome

  • Black rabbits with some colors occasionally spotted

  • Sheep

  • Pigs

  • Underground glow squids

  • Underground bats

  • Goats

However, there are also many different dangerous mobs that you need to be on the lookout for. This includes Creepers, Endermen, spiders, skeletons, jockeys, zombies, and witches. There are also parts of the biome that are in Slime Chunks and you will be able to find plenty of Slimes here.
