A cool, crisp rain
glistens through the night sky
extinguishing lost dreams
destroying flickers of old hopes.

The shadow screamer
spazzes in the liquid fury
essence is draining
from the underworld.

Frame rate descending
to depths unfelt
movement decelerates
in a parallel fashion.

Yet a light shines through
the endless sheet of downpour
vegetation rejoices at the
engagement of new life.

The chain reaction
sends life into a spiral
an inverse warmth
for inverse destruction.

Liquid rejuvenation
in a form so unique
kindles new hopes
strengthens new passion.
