Chapter One: Amnesia ...
"Huh"?.."Where am I?"... I had found myself at the bottom of a large, dark, ditch.
I couldn't remember what had happened, or where I was. A faint smell of dust and dirt filled the air.....
I got to my feet. I had multiple scratches and burn marks to my face and chest. I began to search around the area . It appeared that the area was torn up and badly damaged. I had found a couple of torches and a worn down stone sword near by the place where I had woken up...
Peaking down the middle of the ditch was a ray of light.
I began to climb up the side of the hole, getting closer to the source of the light with every arm reach.
Then I reached the top...
Chapter Two: The Red Carpet..
I poked my head out of the ditch.... It wasn't a good sight. Bodies were lying across the forest floor... "Hello"?..."is anybody out there"?...(No reply). I began to search around the area for a sign of life. Then in the distance was a bright light.."Fire!!" I shouted. It was spreading rapidly through the forest. I quickly grabbed my items and ran in the opposite direction of the flames. They were catching up...Then I realised there was only one way of surviving this..."Underground"...I began to claw at the dirt with my bare hands.The flames were only a few meters away...Then I began to get drastic.
I ripped and tarred at the dirt Until I had made a man sized hole. The Heat was intense. I Hurled myself into the hole for cover. The fire had reached the outside of the hole, I had only just managed to save myself...
I waited a couple of hours for the fire to Go past... I pulled myself out.
The fire was still burning in the distance. The Forest was just a thick layer of ash.. Then I began to wonder....
.."How did the fire start"?
Chapter Three: A Quest For Life..
I was beginning to get hungry... There wasn't any sign of food for miles. If there was any hope of surviving this I would have to find civilisation. I Began to head north into the mountains. I figured if I was going to find life, I had to get to higher ground...
