Here’s my poem about a snow golem being created and finding a friend. It’s for the winter snowman blog contest. Hope you enjoy- DℜσgΩη∼
A Fateful Day
Flittering fairies of snow passed by,
The wind pushing with a mighty cry,
Galloping toward the earth like a frozen steed
Flowing through boughs without heed.
I remember the warmth of a magical fire
The hands of my creator lifting me higher.
To open eyes made of sodden clay,
No longer frozen after that fateful day,
A life made new with a heart to save
To help others and to his foes raze.
Soon I grew lonely even with him here,
Just me and my monsters and nothing to fear,
Till one day I saw another standing there
Looking at me with cherishing care.
No longer abandoned I have found a friend
To stand by me until the end.
