So, minecraft is my favorite game, it's not complicated and it's rather addicting. but as of late, I have come across some things that I find really bother me. I'm going to make a list, check it twice, and then write a short description of why these things bother me. *warning* this is in fact a rant.
#1) young players on PvP servers.
earlier today, I have come across a couple of 5-7 year olds playing on a factions server I fancy. as you can imagine, they couldn't spell, or have a basic clue as to what commands or admins are. these kids actually spammed up the server soo badly, the admins and mods LEFT the server! yeah. if you don't know how to make a sword, and spell "sword" -> "sored" there is a major problem. and on top of that they called me mean for sniping them while I'm in a faction EASILY labelled as the "bad guys". honestly, anyone would have killed you kids, why don't you understand this?*note* I didn't know they were about 6, I was sure they were simply really dumb.
#2) enderman spawn rate.
when anyone sees an enderman, they usually don't become afraid, but rather, cautious. the thing with the enderman is that he is based on "slenderman" a creature that, once researched properly, I couldn't sleep for a week. so when I see an enderman, I'm not afraid, I'm just kinda disappointed at the lack of novelty in the appearance one.
#3) griefers on creation-based servers.
when it comes to griefing, it's one thing to burn a base to the ground to achieve access to the spoils inside. but a totally different thing to burn or destroy a project that took weeks to build. you see, in reality, graffiti is an art, it requires effort. in minecraft, griefing is simply rude.
#4) abusive moderators.
everyone has encountered the nasty sound of sudden TnT while in the "safety" of their own fort. a random mod gets the great idea to go around and attack those that they are supposed to protect. it's unfair and um-manly.
#5) diamond armor
My parents have both become one with the world of craft. my father construction, my mother, an aircraft engineer. no-matter who I consult, the reality of diamond armor is that it is pure fantasy. most items one can craft in minecraft are at least based off real things, while diamond armor never existed in the medieval age for a reason; diamond may be hard, but it's also really brittle. you know how your pencil breaks? yeah, that's what happens to your armor if you fall down the stairs because your armor weighs about twice your weight . not fun, not ideal.
so guys, I am currently starting a new mod/modpack/"IDK what to call it" which is going to based around survival and PvP! I'm talking more arsenal, more injury, more struggle to stay alive. if you have any ideas on what would come in handy, and what you would love to see in PvP or survival, please leave a comment with your ideas!

Cool fact: You know industrial saws? Know whats on the blade part that makes them cut so well? Yup.
so yes, diamond is a pretty much indestructible material, but the reality is, you'r going to have a hard time finding it a few hundred feet below the earths surface. in fact, it takes intense heat to form diamond, but other material is likely to remain, thus diluting the whole mass. thus making the "diamond" brittle. you're only likely to find it in celestial bodies out in space. so yeah, if they add a way to travel to one of Saturn's moons or perhaps, Venus, in minecraft, please, by all means, attempt to make diamond armor.
