I'm sure a lot of you have completely lost track of where the lore is at this point, and in truth, so am I (a little less than y'all, though). To help remedy that, I've decided to make this blog recapping our group's history and all the chaos (no pun intended) that's occurred since our formation.

November 2022
11-11 - At a United Nations meeting, Councilman Cloud, on behalf of the Forge Council, refuses to share their metals, and the other nations do so with their resources as well. High Councilman Silabear (of the Council of Mods) is forced to escort them all out.
11-12 - The Forge declares war on the Cryptic Family and attacks Morbid Island. The Cholan Empire aids the Family, while the Forge is joined by the Nether Empire. The Forge-Nether alliance is ultimately driven off the island.
11-13 - The Mainland-End Nation alliance declares neutrality.
11-16 - The Cryptic Family sinks a PMC City cruise ship, and Silabear declares war on both the Cryptic-Chola and Forge-Nether alliances. He also disbands the UN.
11-27 - A war-weary PMC Military officer named SB forms the Chaos Legion in a Rent-a-Bunker to help end the war, and they begin advertising. By the end of the day, they're 19 people strong. Even Silabear and King Elightin Elytra of the Cholan Empire join, as does a regretful Cloud.

December 2022
The Chaos Legion continues to spread, stopping battles and convincing soldiers to lay down their arms and join the side of peace.

January 2023
1-2 - The Astral Beasts, an ancient and seemingly infinite horde of ravenous, destructive aliens, escape their millennia-long containment in deep space and decide to attack Planet Minecraft, of all things.
1-3 - At an emergency UN conference is held in spite of their disbandment to discuss the threat of the Astral Beasts, who are wrecking the planet. Supreme Commanding Legionmaster SB is also present as representative of the Chaos Legion. The nations agree to a ceasefire to combat their new enemy.
1-7 - The Chaos Legion, now recognized as an official military, embarks on their first legitimate operation to clear Chola Island of the Astral Beasts. After winning the battle, Elightin signs over ownership of the land to them out of gratitude. Over the course of the month, it is rebuilt into Anarchy Island and divided into 5 districts.

February 2023
2-3 - Thanjavur, the Cholan Empire's capital, is finished being rebuilt, the only part of the old island left.

March 2023
3-10 - SB sustains near-fatal wounds in a battle against the Astral Beasts in the Northern District. He is put on life support.
3-11 - SB is declared well enough to be taken off of life support, although his injuries are still bad.
3-12 - SB passes away from his injuries, handing over command to his friend Violiie, an unofficial member of the Legion.
3-13 - Violiie announces that an election will be held to determine the next Supreme Commanding Legionmaster
3-14 - A poll is put up to vote on the new leader. The three candidates are Infantryman IGEBM, Infantryman Si (full name Silas), and High Battlemaster Spencer.

April 2024
4-3 - Si wins the election.
4-4 - Violiie officially inducts Si as the new Supreme Commanding Legionmaster.
4-9 - Supreme Commanding Legionmaster Si introduces squads to the Chaos Legion.
4-18 - Si announces that he intends to promote someone to SCL to be his second-in-command. That same day, he concludes an alliance with the Luminous Gang. The other candidates are Cloud, Neon (who would later change her name to Echo), and Spencer.
4-25 - IGEBM wins the poll and is promoted to Supreme Commanding Legionmaster.
4-28 - An astrologist learns of a far-away planet called Cybertron, whose inhabitants are at war. On said planet is a database of endless knowledge known as the Underbase, which could possibly solve the Astral Beast problem. Coincidentally, a space shuttle called the Order had just completed its safety tests and was ready for flight. Si was informed of the discovery and sent a team of specialists to Cybertron to investigate. The crew arrived safely, but their ship ran out of fuel. They broke into the Temple of Knowledge to retrieve the Underbase and sent it back to PMC in a capsule.
4-29 - The capsule lands on PMC, creating a crater in the Northern District. IGEBM takes Squad 3 to investigate. Unaware of its contents, they destroy the capsule, releasing the Underbase. IGEBM, who had gone down to investigate up close, is knocked out by the yellow essence and transformed by it. It drives him mad and gives him a yellow tint; this new, corrupted IGEBM slaughters half of Squad 3 and reanimates their corpses to attack their former comrades. He then flees the scene.
4-30 - While in hiding on Shiver Island, IGEBM devises a plan to conquer the multiverse. The Underbase grants him limited knowledge of it, but he knows that it would be best to start with Normax 1010.17, which is at the center of it all. He conjures a small portal to said universe and finds a version of himself named DarkGEBM, who he recruits to his side.

May 2023
5-1 - IGEBM begins his new daily routine of terrorizing PMCers to spread fear.
5-12 - Si begins to make a few changes to the Chaos Legion, creating a new rank known as the Anarchist, which he becomes. The Supreme Commanding Legionmaster is now his second-in-command. He also removes the Grand Creationist (engineer) rank.
5-17 - Si finally accepts that there's no bringing his best friend back and goes on sabbatical. He promotes Cloud and Echo to the SCL rank to run the army. On the same day, Infantryman GrossDeimosStein leaves the Chaos Legion, disappearing into the Unknown Lands. He returns to his leader, Emperor Wither Storm II, and together, they strengthen their campaign against the few settlements of humans there to claim the region.
5-20 - Cloud unveils the new flag of the Chaos Legion, a black-and-white arrow pointing to the upper-right corner against a red background.
5-29 - While terrorizing the locals, IGEBM sees a portal open to Normax 1010.17, and he goes through. He attacks the six people on the other side (another IGEBM and Si, Peter, Dr. Golden, and Greief) and kills one. He meets up with DarkGEBM and his new team - the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The group of five from the lab go on a mission to stop him.
5-30 - The Greief of Normax arrives on Anarchy Island by way of a portal and recruits the Chaos Legion to help them stop the Maddened One (the people of Normax’s name for IGEBM). Even Si joins them.
5-31 - The Legion battles the Maddened One and his horsemen, and he is ultimately sealed away in unspace, where he soon crumbled away.

June 2023
6-3 - The Dr. Golden and Greief of Normax construct a crude collider to return the Chaos Legion to their home universe. Si goes back on his break.
6-4 - Despite being on break, Si announces that he will be reorganizing the ranks. As part of this, each Supreme Commanding Legionmaster, including the newly-promoted Greief (who was ranked up to replace IGEBM), is given a district to run, with High Battlemasters Clay and Diiby being put in charge of IGEBM's old stomping grounds.
6-5 - Si gives Cloud the position of Squad Manager, and he redoes the squads.
6-7 - A funeral is held for IGEBM.
6-25 - Elightin asks if the Chaos Legion would like to ally with the Cholas. Si returns from his break, and negotiations begin.

July 2023
7-1 - A large group of Astral Beasts, still having a little of the Maddened One's orders left in them, attacking the Western District stronger than ever. They become known as the Swarm. Cloud is forced to blow up part of the district to stop them.
7-3 - A reality-jumping IGEBM from a universe extremely similar to Chaoseus 1122.27 arrives in said reality, but he winds up stuck there. He is brought before the Anarchist, SCLs, and Spencer, and they "approve" him and induct him into the Legion, giving him his predecessor's rank.
7-4 - The Astral Beasts attack the Northern District. Using the missile defense system (MDS), Clay and Diiby are able to get rid of them.
Note: Due to Si getting burnt out with this series, and then going on break and eventually being banned, it was never finished. I'm going to assume the threat of the Swarm was stopped, however.
7-16 - The Chaos Legion and Cholan Empire at last conclude an alliance.
7-17 - IGEBM becomes the official recordkeeper of the Chaos Legion.

August 2023
8-21 - Si announces a contest to determine the Legion's official uniform. (Up until now, they had worn their respective militaries' uniforms.)

September 2023
9-1 - The uniform contest begins.
9-27 - Supreme Commanding Legionmasters Violiie and Echo go to Morbid Island to inspect the Southern District's outpost there.
9-28 - Emperor Wither Storm II makes the presence of his Great Monster Empire known, announcing that they have taken over the Unknown Lands and turned it into the GME Territories. He announces his opposition towards the Chaos Legion, and PMCers as a whole, as he seeks to conquer the planet in the name of the oppressed monsters. IGE suggests to his second-in-command and Minister of Defense, Marshal GrossDeimosStein, that they initiate peace negotiations, as he doesn't want a war.
9-29 - Cloud finally finishes reorganizing the squads (and just in time).
9-30 - Peace talks between the Chaos Legion-Cholan Empire alliance and the GME are held by Elightin on a holo-call, with the other participants being Si, IGE, Cloud, Dr. Golden, Rob, and GrossDeimosStein. Things fall apart, and just as Elightin and Si try to salvage it, the learn that the Emperor has declared war. The Central District's shield dome is activated, while IGE retreats to his secret bunker on Hell's Island to remotely aid in the conflict. Elightin and Rob join Si and the rest of the SCLs at the Chaos Center in the Central District. That day marked the beginning of the PMC World War.

October 2023
10-1 - On a holo-call, the war council discuss possible ways to combat the GME, with Elightin suggesting a nuke. The GME, meanwhile, nukes part of the Western District, and while Squads 1 and 3 stand guard over the area as it gets repaired, they are ambushed a group of Air Military officers from their enemy empire. GrossDeimosStein launches 100 missiles containing Professor Verwelkterstein's X-20 virus at Anarchy Island. The Hailfire missiles from the MDS shoot down 80, but the other 20 land and unleash the virus. IGE is able to synthesize a cure, however, and the effects are undone. He then raises the shield dome to block out the 100 nuclear missiles on their way from the GME Territories as part of Operation: Nuclear Inquisition. Illager Island, who had become allies with the Legion that day to help out in the war, is attacked as well, as they refused to pull out of the war. They are visited on the battlefield by a half-wolf GME citizen named Rose, who is calling herself the Blood Ultima. IGEBM and Arch Illager later suggest that GrossDeimosStein stage a coup.
10-2 - At midnight, GrossDeimosStein stages the Midnight Coup, starting a brief conflict amongst the people of the Great Monster Empire. Ultimately, GrossDeimosStein surrendered. A new nation entered the war that day: the Mystical Forest Empire, ruled by the Blood Ultima. They wound up allying with the GME.
10-3 - Air Military Officer Rylu attempts to form a group of pro-peace GME citizens, but is caught and ambushed in her quarters by the Royal Guard. She takes them out and escapes. That same day, the GME and MFE start hurricanes and send storm dragons to Anarchy and Illager Island, although the Chaos Legion is able to keep the storm out with their shield (but it is slowly wearing it down). IGE learns of Rylu's current status in the GME from Infantryman Narwhal and goes out to find her. While he recruits her to the Legion's side, the Red District Power Plant is attacked by General Totenkriegstein (also known as General Apocalypse) and his men. Si, IGE, and Rylu arrived on the scene midway through the battle, and at the end, Totenkriegstein killed Legionmaster Storm (who was there to get the MDS back up and running). A funeral is held for him, and Elightin arranges peace negotiations in Thanjavur for the following afternoon.
10-4 - Peace talks are held at Castle Cholan in Thanjavur. Elightin, Rob, Si, IGE, and Cloud physically attend, while Illager and Wither join via holo-calls. Wither has changed his mind, however, and is not open to negotiating; to show this, he had put his hologram on pause. Seeing that he wasn't present, the group began discussing how to attack the GME Territories. Elightin left, and ordered Marshall Cat to illegally launch a nuke at Castle Großmonsterstein. No officials were killed, and the Armed Forces were at another castle. The Imperial Committee (The Emperor, the Marshal, Totenkriegstein, and Verwelkterstein) held a meeting in the ruined meeting room to discuss how to get revenge. Elightin was put on trial at the Cat Courthouse in downtown Thanjavur and sentenced to 10 years in prison for the illegal act (nuke launches by a member of a war council require the approval their peers). Rob became the not-yet-coronated king of the Cholan Empire. Wither called off the retaliatory strike and the war entered an unofficial ceasefire; the Mystical Forest Empire also pulled out of the conflict. He also demanded an apology, which the Chaos Legion-Cholan Empire-Illager Clan alliance promptly produced.
10-6 - Wither privately contacts IGEBM asking to organize a peace treaty.
10-7 - With the mentality of "no winners, no losers" in mind, the Chaos Legion (now only represented by Si and IGE), Cholan Empire (now solely represented by Rob), and Illager Clan met with Wither to discuss a peace treaty. During the meeting, GrossDeimosStein snuck away from the castle and committed suicide.. They came to an agreement after the whole Marshal situation was sorted out, and afterwards, Si, IGE, Illager, and others attended Rob's coronation. As it turned out, Marshal GrossDeimosStein's suicide was faked and covered up by the Emperor, who had proceeded to send him on a mission into space to meet with Emperor XenomorphRex V and discuss an alliance with the Great Alien Empire.
10-10 - Repairs in the Western District are completed.
10-?? - The Great Monster Empire and Great Alien Empire form an alliance.
10-?? - Marshal DarkRob, leader of the PMC Evil Alts contacts the GME-GAE alliance and allies with them, forming the Evil Internationale.
10-20 - Infantryman Kai is discovered as a spy in the GME and flees, returning north to Anarchy Island.
10-21 - Kai offers to build new types of vehicles for the Legion, and is permitted to by IGEBM, beginning the Vehicle Program.
10-28 - Kai unveils his first creation, the Chaos Pursuiter.

November 2023
11-1 - Infantryman Flamingo teases the helmet of his prototype Spartan Armor, a new project being overseen by Si.
11-4 - Flamingo unveils the prototype armor.
11-13 - IGEBM announces that there will be a big festival in the Central District to celebrate their 1-year anniversary and how far they've come. During it, their uniform, as well as the Spartans, will be revealed.
11-20 - Elightin is pardoned and Rob willingly restores his status as king. That same day, Si comes up with a plan to make the currently-unused Elite Infantryman rank the place for Spartan Armor to be used. He brings IGE onto the project as well. They begin discussing candidates - 1 from each district, with Flamingo representing all 5.
11-27 - The Chaos Legion has their anniversary festival. During the event, IGEBM reveals who the Elite Infantrymen are - Commanding Infantrymen Trotelot, AJ, and Kirb, and Infantrymen Spartan, Psio, and Flamingo. He then announces the winner of the contest - Commanding Infantryman Kirbalorian - and wears his own uniform onstage.
11-28 - Flamingo gives more details on the Spartan Program, including revealing the uniforms of Fireteam Phoenix, as they will be known, as well as a render of the suits done by Si. That same day, based on comments made by Echo and Flamingo, IGEBM makes a special Christmas flag for the group to use in December. He also briefly changes their motto to "We make Order Out of Christmas." Si also revamps the Chaos Council, making the members himself, IGE, Echo, and Greief, as well as Rob, their bridge to the Cholan Empire. The original three councilmen are demoted to High Battlemasters.

December 2023
12-11 - Infantryman EnderCyborg reveals himself to be a member of the GME and blows up a base in the Central District. He is apprehended and locked up on Disorder Island (a maximum-security prison off the coast of Anarchy Island). He was released that same day because Totenkriegstein threatened to declare war.

February 2024
2-1 - Flamingo unveils a prototype Spartan Kabuto armor set.

March 2024
3-8 - At his suggestion, IGE is made the official Head of Foreign Relations by Si, although he had been doing the work without the title since the end of the PMC World War.
3-28 - Si is diagnosed with a fatal, incurable disease caused by contact with an Astral Beast. He goes on a break, while IGE serves as acting commander.

April 2024
4-2 - Cloud redoes the squads once again, assigning districts to each one now as well.

June 2024
6-8 - Si prepares to poison himself, as he knows there's no way to cure the disease at this point, but drops dead on his couch before he can do so. After his death is confirmed, IGE announces that he will be taking his friend's place as the Anarchist.

July 2024

10-7 - The Chaos Legion reestablishes their alliance with the GMIE.
10-12 - At the request of Tzyber (who wanted to show the Legion that "tacky tactical military gear doesn't win wars"), Evil Marshal ShadowGreief of the PMC Evil Alts declares war on the Legion. Both parties, along with the GMIE, began preparing for battle, with IGE convincing ShadowGreief to hold off any attacks for 2 days.
10-14 - The Chaos Legion raises their shield dome and goes on the defensive. The GMIE sends troops to aid them, and all squads currently off-island are called back.

Understanding the GME

Understanding the lore of the Great Monster Empire, Monsteranian Federation, Imperialstonelandian Federation, etc is very, very hard. I would've written out my explanation, but that would take ages, so I've made a recording (which is much more fun). I will, however, give you guys this table showing a timeline of the empire:

Quick update on 6-19: Even now, not even 24 hours after I've done this recording, I've been informed by the Marshal that he will be taking a break from running the Federation due to illness (no surprise there) and transferring power to his administration in the meantime.
