A Pro's Guide To Winning the Survival Games

Hey everybody its me, your friendly neighborhood finglelpuppl, back with another blog, my first one for a while actually.....

Everyone loves to play them but not everyone is good at them, why? Well its not because some people are crazy good at the games, its because they're smart and they have strategies, which makes them seem like "all that"

SURVIVAL GAMES!!!!!!

In this blog ill be giving you all my strategies and such for the games along with a few pro-tips...lets get started!

--The Lobby--

Now even though the lobby is a "safe" place before the games, its a place were alot of players essentially get themselves killed, why?because they break the basic rules of teaming.

Safety First Kids Dont team with those people who say "say 123 to be on my team." these people are predators that want to form a team quick so in the games they get some free points. you gotta be smart in the lobby so you can be safe in the games

Dont join big teams! the more people your with the more likely you are to get betrayed.

When making teams the lobby IS the best place to do it...just be careful though! Also the lobby is a great place to adjust your settings...turn particles to minimum and graphics to fast...it reduces lag

Pro-Tip #1-- Get in the zone, get focused, listen to your favorite music. according to MLG gaming it really helps.

--Lets get Started, Games--

This is the most important time of the games, but its also, commonly, the time when most people die, because they make silly little mistakes. These tips are the ones that will help you get started and away from the cornucopia so you can really start playing.

Cornucopia Another team warning...often times people will ask to team when your waiting on the start platforms...don't accept, its just too fast to make a team and most of the time these people are looking for free points
(Please note that sometimes people who ask for teams in the ways I've mentioned are being honest so don't take offence if you do this)

GO TO THE CORNUCOPIA!!! i know a lot of people say that its a huge blood bath there and you should never go, but that's not the truth.

Death Wish there are 3 types of people that die at the corn. 1. the ones who linger in the chests 2. those who get swords and get into battles and 3. those who stay long after to recheck the chests. These players are basically ASKING to be killed

But here's the tip, cornucopia is super important. before the start target one chest, get the stuff and run. its that simple!

Cut and Run!! Swords at Corn... if you get a sword or ax then the best thing you can do is kill as many people that are in chests that you can... it does 3 things...gives you points, gives you gear, and reduces the number of people you have to fight later on. But remember cut and run...don't linger too long!

Pro-tip # 2-- Dont put armor on until you get away from corn...if you do put it on at corn it will make you look more desirable to those with swords

This next section is mainly for those who like to go alone, but teamers these tips can still benefit you!

--So...You're Going Alone!--

Smart Cookie Realistically this is the smartest way to go in the Survival Games because anything can happen with teams, but it also means you WILL be fighting teams of two and maybe even three, leaving you at a little bit of a disadvantage but as the Pro you are you always successfully prepare with these tips...

Map a Route! Now this is a tip you've heard from everyone that's ever been good at SG and that's find a ROUTE.And its really that important, if you go running around then you will only find a couple chests and end up being killed by the people who know what their doing. find a few chests that are GOOD AND HIT THEM EVERY GAME. its that important.

Pro-Tip #3- There are 2 types of chests. Tier ones and tier twos. ones have feather flint wood & cobble weapons and food, Tier twos have iron gold and chain armor, diamonds, ingots and golden apples....FIND TIER TWOS!!!!!

Once you get your route and you gear up hopefully your ready to go hunting.

...I'mon the Hunt I'm After You! Always go out and hunt other players .don't just wait for death match. the other players may have gear you need....or an opponent needs. they give you points and gear.

Pro-Tip #4-- when approaching an enemy you're pretty sure you can beat hide you weapon and just hold out a stick. if they thing you don't have a weapon then they might not run...then BAM Finnish them with your sword!

Often times when you look in a chest and see feathers or flint or sticks you think, "oh i don't need those" and you just move on. but in reality these are super important items! they can make you arrows flint and steel and better swords!

Stop Drop and BURN!!!! After you've gone around and killed some people you may find that your inventory is quite full...if you have flint and steel its a good idea to burn these extra items instead of just dropping them because 1. you clear up space for better loot 2. you prevent others from picking it up later on.

"Never Tell me The Odds" - Han Solo Okay so we all know if Han Solo Played SG, no one would win the games but him...but lucky he dosent....ANYways, when facing up against teams you have to make smart decisions. The first thing you should know is NEVER take on a team of three+ solo...you WILL lose. If there are two and you have better armor and weapons then your probably good. but this is where one thing i cant tip you about all the way comes in...

Come at me Bro Fighting is something you have to get good at by yourself but there are things that can be taught. 1. Critical hits are they way you can kill a guys that's better than you in the games. they do about 1 extra damage on top of the damage you've already dealt, which allows you beat the better bad guys. Also Flint and steel is a great way to go when fighting teams and better players... it does some good initial damage when their in the fire, they get burn damage AND they cant sprint away from you! but keep in mind that in SG Flint and Steel only has a few uses before it breaks.

Pro-Tip #5- Dont block hit!! ever since the 1.5 update you cant block and hit at the exact same time, so that means you may just be blocking and not swinging!

Free Refills?? The answer is NO. alot of people think that if they reach cornucopia first at the refill then their fine and nothing will happen, Dont that's not the truth. you always have to watching your back, especially at corn and this is where its good to have a teammate. but if you do make it to corn at refill grab as much as you can...even if you don't need it. grab all the iron chain and gold stuff so your opponents cant. then burn it!

--Quick Team Tips--

They're not a Team are They? When you and your teammate are just running across the map looking for people make it look like one is chasing the other. then maybe someone will come and try to attack one of you

Im on the Lookout! When one of the teammates is in a chest or at corn have the other one keep a look out for other players so that no one can sneak up on you. this applys when looting chests, crafting weapons, or clearing/organizing your inventory

Pro-Tip #6 Don't be an idiot. If you see a pressure plate or lever and you don't know what its does, leave it ALONE... Why is this even a ProTip....

Flank EM'!If you and your teammate come up on and enemy and he slips away and begins to run have one teammate chase him straight on and the other take an alternate route so that he can cut him off

DEATHMATCH AND ENDGAME TIPS COMING VERY SOON
