If you're reading this then it's probably for one of 3 reasons.
1- You game on a laptop (as do I)
2- You game on a PC and are here to hate/criticise
3- You simply do not care, and just wanted something to read
Well PMC, this is my first submission of any kind, and it has only come about because I have recently started playing on random creative servers, and receive much criticism when people learn about my laptop. It's usually stuff like " WTF ARE YOU DOING GET A LIFE AUGHHHHHHH!!!!!11111". No joke, that's a direct quote.
Now let me be the first to tell you that my laptop sucks. It's a Dell Latitude D600, it's god knows how old, and i can get a maximum of 30 fps.
However, I fail to recognise how people in my position deserve to be hated against so hard, when we can do things just as well as any other gamer.
Texture Packs? I tolerate the bad fps so i can have the glory of x128. Mods? I run a Tekkit server for me and my friends, no lag. I feel that Tiny render distance adds atmospheric effect, and clouds are overrated. And guess what Mr. Ihaveapcsoyousuck, a mouse can be used with a laptop.
So over the course of the next few months, I will be making a series of creative mode structures and uploading them here, to honour the laptop gamers and show what we can do. This is not for experience, I couldn't care less about diamonds, most popular is irrelevant. This is for recognition. Not of me, but of what we as a community can do, no matter the platform, the game, or the damn internet speed, it's down to the person.
But alas, stereotypes remain, so for the record, I'm proud of my good for nothing laptop. It can do most of what i ask it to, and it lets me play Minecraft.
So if you think you're better than us because you can waste money on a pc to be able to run Minecraft at 120 fps with x256, then why don't you go buy someone who cares.

my parents dont have money to buy me a computer.
4GB ram, 256 dedicated vram. 2.8 ghz core 2 dual processor. Running minecraft on max getting round 40-50. So I wonder what is making your TF2 slow.. :P
2gb ram. (It can run tekkit with 60fps and a maximum of 64x texturepack before experiencing lag)
my secret? allocate 1.5gb of ram using technic launcher
