From the way that minecraft has been getting less popular, we need to start bringing it back. With mojang removing CTMs and MetaDatas advanced builders are (for the most part) Staying away from 1.8 including myself. But this is our chance to make a change. Spam this link EVERYWHERE that you think microsoft and mojang can see it! Let us, the players cause a change for once!

Metadata were removed for modders so they can mod blocks easier, isn't it time legit builders get something in return for all they have done for mc , I mean practically every update is for modders now, builders deserve updates just as much as modders.

The game is not ebcoming less popular.
There has never been CTM.
You obviously don't understand what metadatas are.

What made you think that Minecraft is becoming less popular? And with the removal of metadata comes more epic things and also for the Plugin API, which can allow builders to add their own blocks. IMO though

What did i say? Yes they do add some things for players but maybe they should listen to all the diffent players. Like whoop-dy-freaking-do, we got some bunnies and goddamn one eyed fish! The only things they add now are redstone things and useless mobs. You may say they add the prismarine blocks. Those are useless. Ugly in vanila, ugly in sphax, they are useless and even most of the best builders admit it.

Mojang didn't removed CTM. They can't remove something that was never in the game... 
And the removal of metadatas was a necessary step for the Plugin-API

... not sure if uneducated or... yeah, yeah he's uneducated. The removal of metadata makes it easier for modders to add blocks and then modify them. It removes a vital step from modding allowing for faster, easier, and overall better modding.

To all of you who call me un-educated and everything, its not about me not knowing... Im just saying since this new update, removing the ability to use Metadatas has screwed up advanced builders like Gazmo, Lord Dakr,and JamizBoy.

His point is that many popular builders and building teams rely on the extra metadata because it allows texture pack creators to create "extra blocks". By removing the extra metadata, builders no longer have access to the extra blocks, severly limiting the creativity they can put into their builds. It can also make many older builds incompatible with future versions of minecraft, if said builds relied on the extra metadata.
