  • Add on to the Minedeas top 50 idea post LAST MINUTE VILLAGE MOD IDEA by Halrold!




Pros: Different villages, villagers, new mob(s), wars, allies, etc.

Cons: Thirst and Temperture.

Thirst and temperture will make Minecraft what it isn't suppose to be, SIMPLE. Food is already in the game, thirst and temperture do NOT need to complicate the wonderfull simplicity of Minecraft. Temperture will be very hard to code and might resault in many, many new bugs. They might be good for games like The Hunger Games, you can toggle this on/off in the middle of a game.

Add ons: Make a player be able to join a village. To make this work, a GUI would pop up every time you go into a new village, you can toggle this off in the menu.(This would kick you out of your old village if you were in one, and your new village would be forever in war with your new one, you can not switch back to your old village after joining a new one). Then the player could expand the village and would be the "King" of that village. The "King" cab expand the village, declare war with others (A GUI would pop up every time you go into another village saying "Make peace" "Declare war", etc. (Again, you can turn this off in the menu). If you are a king in a village, the villagers will follow you unless you are cruel to them. (Killing villages for no reason, declaring too many wars, etc.) And more villages will spawn if you are good to them. (Expanding, making peace, defeating other villages, etc.) As King you always have a GUI saying how many villagers, and can turn villagers in to certain classes (Farmers, Knights, Priests, etc.)

Farmers will supply food to villagers like Knights, so you have to balance it out. (If you have only one Farmer and 20 Knights, Knights would die off).
