You always see these awesome designs on shops and houses in servers. When I say "Design" I mean a picture, such as a pickaxe or maybe even a Mario picture. Now, I've made a few in the past but they were total failures. But that's only because I didn't follow these guidelines.

Start with, "What do I like?" For example, when I was littler then I am now (I'm a teen) I used to watch Super Mario Sunshine with my brother on the Nitendo (man I wish I could spell) Game Cube. And watch my cousin play Legend of Zelda: Orinca of Time on the Nitendo 64 (still wish I could spell.) So I'd say I still love both of those games. Lets go with Mario for just an example. Next, it to lay out how big you want it.

Big pictures tend to be much harder and more consuming in time and resources. I'd go with a medium picture, but if your an "over achiever" go on to do it much bigger, it's not my picture. But seriously, don't go to big because it will just make your "Perfect House" look not so perfect. But since you don't have different sizes of wool, I suggest making it a medium size. Next is to get the resources.

You will need wool. Wool and dyes. Mario has these colors on him- Red (hat and shirt), blue (his overalls), brown (his hair), white (the little mario symbol), etc.... You get the point I'm making. When I mentioned the Mario symbol (the M) you really HAVE to be that detailed to make it look realistic. For example, when doing the overalls, I can add different shades of blue to add shadow, but don't make the blues to far apart because it won't look very good. Now it's time to start working...

Now I know some of you are "I CAN DO IT WITHOUT IT!" but, seriously, just hold the dang picture by your side so you can keep looking on and off. Without it, your doomed to miss some important detail. Like the buttons on Mario's overalls, or maybe you'll forget his famous symbol. The point I'm making, is that you really just need the picture by your side while working on it.

I hope this helped a little(: Next will be either "Adding a Yard to Your Perfect House" or "Adding a Tree House to Your Perfect House." Vote in the comments(:

*Remember that I suck at actually adding a picture, so again... I got the title picture from the internet.
