One day, the minecraft developers were thinking. They wanted to add new mobs to minecraft beaches and rivers! After thinking they decided they wanted to add crabs, seagulls, lobsters, and a new type of fish called bass. First they thought about new items and blocks to go with the update. Drift wood. Crab leg. Lobster claw. Raw bass. Cooked bass. Fish skin. Crab shell. Sea shell. Rotten drift wood. Those were all the new blocks and items. A new structure would be added too! The abandoned pirate ship. In this ship there would be a chest with maps and gold. The ship would have rotten drift wood in it and lots of sea shells, crabs, and crab shells. The developers of minecraft tried the update themselves after releasing the snapshot. There were some glitches. Crabs were upside down and sea gulls did not dive to catch fish when lobsters were near them. The glitches were fixed but a new one came! Crabs talked! They said... FISH! The developers decided to keep this because they thought it was funny. The update finally came out!

Steve had loaded up a new survival world. He looked around to see himself on an island in the middle of a giant ocean! He started to punch a tree but then he saw some drift wood! He looked at it seeing it was a very new block. Steve built his house of this new wood. He saw a sheep and charged at it with his sword. Later he crafted a bed. When he started to leave his house he saw a big white bird flying above him. The seagull dove into the water catching a sea bass with its powerful beak. Steve liked the bird with it beautiful white feathers. Steve went up to the cool ocean water as the breeze blowed by. He looked into the water and saw a lobster! Steve thought it was cute but when he got close it pinched him! A half a heart was taken away from Steve. He then heard a noise from in back of him. The small voice said, "Fish!" The crab walked around in circles then dug a small hole in the sand. It was almost night when Steve tripped over a sea shell. Oops! He rushed to his little wooden house built out of this new block he had found just sitting on the shore. The day had gone and it was time to sleep.
The next day Steve got up early. But to his surprise crabs were all over his house!
