Welcome to Aether Survival Guide #2 - Farming.
We will start with a main food source, a blueberry block/bush. Once mined/broken, this block will turn into a blueberry bush and drop 1 to 3 blueberries. If you wait a while, the bush will turn back into a block, starting the process over again. This serves as an infinite food source. Go around your Aether island or area, and try to find blueberry bushes. Break the bush fully. This will drop a blueberry stem, witch you may plant on the ground to make a farm.

Pick these up, and get enough bushes to surround your house, like this:
This is your basic farm. You can also go around and collect saplings from skyroot trees.
