You're downloading an afr.php document every time you open PMC? You think you have a virus? Need to spam the forums with what's going on? If you answered yes to all, some, or some of none of these questions- this blog is for you.
It will not blow you up. You do not need to hide yo' kids, wife, o' husbands. It will not sneak into your house and steal your puppy. It is rather... harmless. People get it- people survive. Follow these simple steps to get rid of it-
1.) Delete the afr.php's from wherever they downloaded to. There's no reason to keep them around, and being super ultra mega safe is always smart. Empty the recycle bin while you're at it, you might as well.
2.) Clear your cache. This is the actual problem solving part. If you don't know how, google "how to clear cache in [insertbrowseryouusehere}"
3.) Change your browser settings to make sure that it asks you about ALL downloads if you haven't already. It's a smart thing to do for the future.
4.) If problem persists, you're hopefully using Firefox. If you're using Firefox, use adblock (don't know what it is-google it) to block the website that gave you the file. If you're not using Firefox, run a virus scan. You're still not going to die or have yo' kids, wife, o' husbands taken, but there's no harm in running a scan.
