Hello everyone :D This is A Rant blog (woowwww no way!!!!) about stereotypes, Anyways same rules as always if you don't like these types of blogs then don't read them simple as that :3 hey look a stack of diamonds xD thank you soo much guys :D
Intro
Yesterday I was playing Garrys mod with some of my friends I met months ago. They all had mics and I recently purchased one to finally talk to them. I didn't talk for a while until one of them said "hey Zombie (my username) watch out they are coming towards you from the left" I totally regret saying "ok" Now I lost 3 friends that I known for months,I'm all alone ;_;, and I was just accused of gender stereotype! "Dude you sound like a girl" "Wtf? Girls can't play these games" and we argued for along time until they finally kicked me T^T So here is a Rant blog about Gender stereotypes.(and age stereotypes since I wanted to make a blog about it for a while)
Gender Stereotypes
Gender stereotypes are horrible to experience they make you feel like you don't mean as much as the opposite gender. This not only happens in games but in real life too! such as people dealing with a females not being able to drive or a 18+ male to become a brony. It's peoples decision to choose what they like and what to do. It's also not right for people to judge Each other over gender appearance.
Age Stereotypes
This is the one that is plain stupid. Does it really matter what age are you? I mean it does matter when you are online dating or if you're a 45 and you're on a game chatting to kiddy winks...there is a limit. But what I'm talking about is games. Does it really matter what age you are? such as a 25 year old enjoying minecraft I used to know this guy on a server that was 23! and he was one of the coolest people you can meet! so what i'm saying is Who cares if there is a older aged male/female playing minecraft they obviously might have more experience than you and they maybe even play it better than you do!
Who cares about stereotypes?
Let's think about reality for a second.. We all know what rumors are right? well think of stereotypes as that. They can be uncalled for,hurtful,and of course mean. and the person saying it in the first place doesn't know how the "rumor" has effected the opposite gender or younger/older people. this all relates to bullying and cyberbullying (depending) and I know for a fact that many people are against that. So why not be against stereotypes?
What can we do?
Not judge others by age or gender. it's wrong! I mean we all used to be 7 or 8 so why pick on kids that are starting to enjoy the wonders of gaming? Now about Gender We might be female, we might be male and that is a huge difference you can tell. But deep inside we all have something in common. like we like junk food don't we? we love playing minecraft right? Don't get me started about Planet Minecraft! We all love it, so that is something we do have in common. And that means you shouldn't judge people cause you never know when they like the same thing you do, and if you think about it's similar to judging yourself!
So this was another one of my rant blogs it's 3:00 AM and I'm making skins and blogs.. oh god I need a life.. anyways I hope you enjoy this blog ^-^/ ~Nyan Out

I've been a gamer girl since I was 7, I'm now 20, and from what has happened to me...males will ALWAYS be surprised about a girl being on a game, and trust me, it's easier now to get accepted by males then it was back when I was young, so think yourself lucky that all you got was kicked out of one game :P
