Before I get started, I just want to say, I am not raging about the staff in this blog, so take it easy in the comments if you are one of those people that loves to think bloggers are raging.

Another thing: A lot of people have been saying that I am sucking up to the staff to get unbanned, however as Jetra stated to me in a PM, I am not currently banned from any part of the site, so that means, I am not sucking up to the mods to get unbanned, I am just thanking them for all of their hard work. :)

I have been working on this since Azie banned me from the forums for a month (<3), so please don't hate.

Prolouge

One day about a month after I bought Minecraft, I was looking for a server to play on, I did a simple search on the internet, and I clicked on the first result that popped up. It took me to a site called Planet Minecraft. I thought this was just a site for one server, so I just took the IP and left.

About a day or two after I first saw PMC, I searched for a skin, once again Planet Minecraft came up... I decided to check the site out, and from that day forward I used PMC for skins, mods, resource packs, and servers.

About a month after my first encounter with the PMC site, I created an account for it. I didn't do really anything on the account for a while. And then...

My first encounter with the PMC staff

...I posted something on the forums, asking for OP on any server that was willing to give it to me. Naturally, this started a flame war. Now mind you that back when I did that, I was a noob. When all of the non-noob people responded with their seemingly rude responses, I did the noobish thing and fought a war that was not worth fighting.

I left for a bit, and when I came back, I suddenly saw some by the name of Azie had posted something on my thread saying, 'Thread locked, flame war.', I am not going to lie, I was PISSED!!!

I kind of rage quit from the site for like a week after that.

My second and third encounters with the PMC staff

One Friday evening I was browsing the PMC forums, when I saw a post that seemed interesting, so I read it. It turns out that the post had started a flame war, and I decided to participate in it... The magical Jetra warned me about this, so that means I had 2 strikes on my account.

A month or so after that happened, I did a foolish thing on the forum, called mini-modding, where basically, not on purpose, but I went around and told people what they did wrong, instead of reporting posts.

Azie must have seen this, and when I came back to the forums a little while later, well, lets just say, I got a message that said, you are banned from this board for 1 month, for flaming, and or minimodding. (<3 Azie :P)

I got a little shooken up by that, but since then, I have not made any more mistakes on the forum, and have been report every post that I see that has a problem.

Now the above things are mainly about the forums, however, I have been banned for 24 hours from uploading, like twice. However I am not going to go into detail about that now, because this post is already long.

The main shizam

Dear PMC Staff,

Without you, this site would be completely haywire, and I probably would have never learned what I had done wrong in the first place.

Every member of the site team, forms an atmosphere around Planet Minecraft, that is fun, yet safe. Whenever something bad does make it in, you take care of it.

In my opinion, you haven't fully experienced PMC, until a staff member warns/bans you. I know you guys receive a lot of crap from people who are pissed off, because you removed a submission or something, but you are just doing your job.

Azie, you became the first staff member that ever warned me about something, and the first (and only) staff member to ban me.

Jetra, you are absolutely amazing with all that you do, including the time you gave me my second strike on here.

Cyprezz and Paril, I want to say how much I appreciate all of the hard work that you did (and still do), here on PMC.

I cannot personally thank all of the team, because there is 73 of you to my last count, however every single one of you are amazing, and I know that you might never get to read this, due to the fact that I am not that popular on the site (lolz), however to all that do, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

If each of you got a dollar for every good staff member deed you have performed, you would be millionaires in about a year.

I could go on forever, but everyone reading this probably wants to do other stuff, so basically, what I am saying is:

I hope everyone will take into consideration, I am not a blogger, but I really wanted to put this out here, because I think the PMC staff deserves it.

Goodnight.

I agree with this, so much.  When I'm banned (I recently was banned for a month, thank you Charlizard) I don't get mad I just know I did something wrong and wait to be unbanned. That simple.

Yeah, the worst thing you can do is fight a ban. Thanks for the comment. :)

I too am a rule complying appreciative PMC member (who has gotten banned) and learned from it. I just stay away from the chat rooms, period.

Don't hide from the chat, sure, it is easier to get banned from the chat, but all you have to do is be very careful. :) Thanks for the comment!

What makes me realize that you are a true brave man?
I have only gotten one update log abuse warning from Midnight, but that was enough to make me shiver. It took me quite a few hours to recover from the shock, and I swore that I would not abuse it again (I kept my words :p) For you bro, you have experienced a lot than I did, and yet you still managed to recover.
This made me determined that you are a true brave man xD

I can't help but smile, I see a lot of posts complaining "OMG y u ban meh!!!??" but this I have to applaud you. It takes a real person to stand up and admit that they did wrong. This is why I tend to avoid the forums myself because, for some reason, they seem to just breed the worst in people, not everyone. It's also very nice when people make a very, very sincere apology such as this and I didn't even realize that I warned you for minimodding (must have been my early days of moderating the forums).

I can see where people try to "kiss up" to us, but I like to believe that there are souls out there that believe that, after all the bans we give people, someone steps up to say, "Thank you for showing me the errors of my ways." ;) I'm usually one of the more soft-hearted mods on this site and for good reason, but that's only for me to know. Let's hope we don't have any more problems in the future, alright?

I'm down with no more problems in the future, seeing as I have already been banned once (one the forums), and warned by you...

After you warned me for minimodding, I started using the report button more and more. Like in about the past 10 minutes I bet I have reported atleast 5 inappropriate/spam posts on the forums, and have also reported a hacked client that someone posted as a texture pack.

Thank you for the comment, I am so honored to have a living PMC legend comment on something that I did! :)
