I have seen many people posting random applications on servers to get in. It is so simple to get on any white listed server. I have taken the time to make a list to help you, yes you.

1.
"Application: This is an example of an
IGN: application i saw. Obviously
Age (we wont be haters): this won't get you on that server.
Will you grief:
Are you willing to donate and how much (You dont have to): However, the application is also
Will you use TNT?: not very good. It has most of the
Do you understand your application may not be accepted?:" things needed but you shouldn't
ask for age (or give your age).
First reply: "Can i join???????? ????????????????????" Asking for examples of previous works is also a good thing to ask for, even if it isnt asked you should
try to give some screenshots.

2. Be mature, this doesn't just mean "Maturity 10/10" it means be mature in your application by using more complex vocabulary (more smart words), this will show you are not going to grief and are serious about joining the server.

3. Kiss some ass. Tell them that you have Favorited their server, Diamonded, Voted ect ect.. Then tell them, this will often encourage others to do the same and some big brownie points to you.

4. Do not ask when you will be given ip or if you are accepted. If you are the person will tell you either by pm or through the post. This makes you seem desperate :P If you follow the first 3 steps then you will be accepted (most cases)

5. Once on the server Be Active. Show that you meant what you said in your application. Do something nice for the server, such as mention them in your signature in PMC or better yet, make a banner for them and use it as your signature and let others know.

6. Diamond this blog or all other steps are pointless (joking, but if it has helped you please do)

Thanks for reading and i hoped you have found it useful.

P.s. Here is an example of a good application and an epic server :D

1. When people ask for your age, they're usually asking so they know how to treat you/act around you. If you own a server that allows swearing, but have a few children who play, you're going to want to know who those people are, so you can let everyone know to keep it clean.
Also, a server shouldn't care about your previous work, and asking questions like that and "Will you grief?" or "Will you use TNT?" just show how unkempt said server is. It's a good sign that it's either riddled with grieffers or is run by some idiot who can barely figure out how to turn it on. (Generalized statement, but it applies to the majority of servers.)

2. No. Be yourself. A little immaturity isn't a bad thing, and trying to use "big words," especially since most people who use said "big words" have no idea what those words mean, just makes you look like a moron who's trying to act better than everyone else. This doesn't just apply to server applications, either. This applies to everything you will ever encounter, both online and in real life.

3. Again, servers shouldn't care about this. Kissing ass will get you nowhere, on any good servers. Be yourself, be respectful, and follow any guidelines that are specified for the application. That's all you need to do.

4. This, I mostly agree with - If you're applying just to get whitelisted, or learn the IP, asking whether or not you've been accepted is annoying. The person who checks the applications might be busy, or asleep, when you post your application. Just wait a while. Things like this SHOULD take time.
However, if you're applying while on the server, and you know someone is on who can check the applications, it's perfectly acceptable to ask how long it takes to check them, or if you've passed.

5. Totally. However, give it a week before you start advertising. Make sure you actually enjoy the server, first. Put it everywhere - Signatures, backpacks, cereal boxes, whatever. The only thing you shouldn't do is go around to other servers and ask people to join, or post on things that aren't asking for a server - And make sure that, if you do advertise the server, you let people know that they have to fill out an application to join.
Also, don't try to talk the server owner into letting your friends join without filling the application out - That's annoying to hear, and good servers won't allow it. (One, because it's not fair to everyone who had to fill out the application - and servers should be as fair as they can possibly be.) Two, because it would be irresponsible. The point of an application is to screen members before letting them join - No application = no screening = you have no idea who this person is, or if they're mature, or if they speak your language (or one that you know.).

OMG those bloody à 's -.-
