Hello guys, Gaarafan14 here. Today I decided I wanted to make a blog since it's been a year or so since the last time I did. So as most of you know already, I'm a HUGE Bleach fan. I mean, it's my favourite series. For some time now, a lot of rumors have been going around that Bleach will end in 4-6 chapters. Until now there have been three huge articles that state bluntly: "Bleach volume 74 will be the last official volume". An average Bleach volume has about 10 or 11 chapters. Right now we've got like... I don't know 6 chapters for volume 74? That means we got like 5 or 4 chapters left if the statements are true. Personally I am unsure about this eventhough Kubo has made a sketch page saying we got blank chapters left until it will end. I'm not trying to get you guys false hope, but I don't think Kubo would ever be able to answer all the unanswered questions in just 5 chapters. How is Ichigo even going to beat Ywach at this point?!
I've watched several videos on youtube actually, with some explanations as to why Bleach may end in 5 chapters and most people said that it's because Kubo is being pressured by Shonen Jump and the editors. I don't know if this is true but regardless, for the past two years Bleach has had a low rating in the Jump Poll. That might be the reason for Shonen Jump and the editors pushing Kubo in the corner like that. Yet I think it's complete baloney. BLEACH IS NOT EVEN COSTING THEM MONEY DESPITE THE RATING, DAMMIT! So anyways, sure Bleach doesn't have a great rating like One Piece but some of the past volumes actually had pretty damn good sales. Nevertheless I think it's completely disrespectful to Kubo and Bleach overall. I mean come on, the guy spent like about 10 years of his life making this. Just trying to rush a story like that is a true shame, really. I mean there was a time that Bleach used to be as great as Naruto, Fairy Tail and One Piece. And in my opinion, it still is great regardless.
So... what do I think about it? Well, I don't believe that it's necessarily true. It might be that Kubo has made the sketch page in order to get more sales. Think about it guys, the moment people will hear that Bleach is about to end, they are likely to be startled and think "Dang, is Bleach gonna end? I defintely gotta catch up.". Not to mention that maybe someone will make a Bleach sequel, I mean I can't say for sure but I want to stay positive.
Look, I'll stay positive but I'll still make myself ready for the worst. Having that said, I would like to say what Bleach means to me. Bleach was the second official anime that I've ever watched so it meant a damn lot for me. For me, Bleach is something I can't just describe in words but I can say that for me it has a lot of meaning. I watched all of the 366 episodes (or well except for the annoying fillers) and when I finished the anime I was simply heart broken. So I started continuing in the manga from where the anime has ended until now. This arc was amazing for some time, but after a while I felt like Bleach was being rushed. Then came the chapters 677-680, which deeply depressed me. It just felt like there was no hope of winning for Ichigo anymore, so I just felt the despair that Ichigo felt. If Kubo decides to kill everyone off and allow Ywach to win, it just won't be Bleach for me anymore because I believe ultimately, the message of Bleach is that as long as the determination and resolve is there, the good will win against evil. Yet I have just read chapter 681, which was completely mind blowing for me and I started to get hyped after a long time. Maybe Ichigo will win, but I don't want any ass pulls though. Nevertheless I will strongly recommend you guys to support Bleach as much as you can and enjoy every chapter we get weekly.
Anyway, please let me see what you guys think about this, what does Bleach mean to you? Please leave a comment. #BleachForLife
Yours truly,
Gaarafan14
