About four days ago I heard from a spy that someone was planning to ambush me soon. About three days ago I was nearly killed by a crossbow bolt from a hidden archer. About two days and fifteen hours ago, I began keeping my guards and sword with me at all times and only removed my armor to bathe. About twenty minutes ago I sat down to eat dinner. About ten minutes ago twenty three men burst in from the windows surrounding my dining room with claymores and short swords. About eight minutes ago my guards had killed five and I three. About seven minutes ago my first guard fell, having slain a total of six men. About five minutes ago my second guard fell, after killing a total of eight men. About 2 minutes ago I had slaughtered 4 more. About 1 minute ago my armor broke and I gained a wound. Now there is one other man left standing. In about 36 seconds, there will just be me.
