On a previous blog (www.planetminecraft.com/blog/131-skin-change-bug/) a user named BlocklyBoy told of a way to change your skin. In his exact words i present the fix!

"well I went back to 1.2.5 where it worked fine and then I went to an editor and edited 1 pixel on my skin, uploaded it went back to 1.3.1 and then It changed from my normal skin and my normal skin with 1 edited pixel :)"

So i guess if you go back to 1.2.5 and change your skin it will work!!!!!!
