This is the start of a new series of weekly blogs I plan on posting, showcasing superb builders who have unveiled a great new build within the previous week. I will showcase three builds per week, only one build per builder.
Below I will start with my initial five builds; remember to please be kind and courteous, and keep the comments mature.
My first build of the week will be a pixel-based build created by River_Swift. From what I can tell, the basis of the build was to recreate the head of the mythological creature Medusa. The design could have been better, as always it could have been, no one is perfect at their builds; however River's post of Medusa's head was if anything, superb, in one word.
It has great detail, however the head seems a bit angular, it punctuates the snakes better. I personally wish I could build this great, because though this build is not perfect, is is much better than most people could do, including myself.
Another great build to showcase? This build is less than an actual build, as it is a massive terrain creation. I must say, the thing that caught my eye about this project the most was the name. I personally was a huge fan of the Inheritance Cycle [Eragon Series], and seeing someone recreate the world of Alagaesia was like my dream come true..
I giveTemplar_elfmassive credit for this intense project...and I congratulate them on pulling off something not many people could. I subbed to this great man [or woman], and decided to diamond this project.
Another great build for this week is Exelon Tower, built by ReverentLeaf. Exelon Tower is a superb, modern-styled building which immediately caught my eye whilst browsing the projects section of PMC. The simplicity of the building is great, as many builds overcomplicate things and become too gaudy, and too flashy. The simplicity and functionality truly come together into forming a superb look for this tower.
I believe Reverent is a superb builder, and I personally can't wait to see what he comes up with next.
Thank you all for viewing my newest series of blog posts, and please go ahead to each of these great builds and leave a comment, and maybe a diamond, because the creators truly deserve it.
