Hello, my name is Venroe and I would like you to take 2 minutes to read this article about what I have seen when it comes to bullying

Bullying, for those of you who don't know, (I'm pretty sure most of you know anyway) there are different types of bullying. One type is probably the most commonly known and is physical bullying. Physical bullying is when someone or multiple people, physically hurt someone else by pushing, hitting, or even just bumping into someone on purpose. Another type is verbal bullying. Verbal bullying is a type that someone is hurt by words used against them such as being called stupid, idiotic, or gay. The last type of well-known types of bullying, is cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is when someone or multiples once again hurt someone over the internet, a game, and/or texting.

At my school, people are mostly bullied verbally. I see people being called stupid, and gay all the time. I'm pretty sure we can all relate to this at many schools. Not too often at my school do people get hurt physically besides being bumped in the hall or shoved out of the way. I have seen just a small shove out of the way escalate into a full-on fight between two students. In one week about a month ago just as school was starting, I've seen two people getting punched and another one, just someone shoving another out of the way turn into a full-on fight. About the two students getting punched, both of the punches were thrown by one student in a single day. The first was in the locker room right after P.E had ended. A boy I kind of knew but not too well all the sudden walked up to another boy (I sort of knew as well) and punched in the side of his head knocking him down to the floor. The other punch (thrown by the same student who punched the other) was during lunch. Once again a the same boy came up to a new student at the school and punched him in the jaw. He did not knock him to the ground but staggered him back. The new student who was hit tried to throw a punch at his attacker but was not able too as for the vice principal came and stopped him. The third was the small fight that escalated from a shove out of the way. One boy I didn't know at all was walking down the hallway between two classes. Behind him was another student, (who I hated) came running from behind him and pushed him aside then just stopped running as if he did that just to push the other boy walking. The boy who was walking shoved the other student who pushed him from behind, into the wall. The other boy who was just shoved into the wall, kneed him in the stomach. The boy was hurt but not bad enough to not be able to throw a punch a the other. By that time a group of other students had quickly gathered around to watch and no one went to go tell a staff member what was going on. The boy threw the punch and hit the other in the neck. The boy seemed to not be affected or hurt by the punch as he quickly grabbed the other boys head and slammed it into the top of a nearby locker. The boy fell to the ground as the other who slammed his head got his stuff and walked off as if nothing happened. Everyone around just stared, not knowing if what they saw was real or not. The boy on the ground just laid there motionless for about 15 seconds then started to move. For some reason no teacher or other staff member had seen what was going on, The boy got up and started to stagger away out the door to head to another class. Everyone was sill standing in that group, amazed of what just happened. A few seconds went by and the crowd started to clear up. I don't think ANYONE of that whole crowd who saw the whole thing told any teacher or staff member.
