This is the sort of blog where I answer many, many questions (maybe not "many" right away, but post them in the comments! I will most likely add it to the blog!). Let's get started!
1. But why do Endermen get hurt in water?
Answer: They are allergic. That or they're the polar opposite of human beings. In the End, there is no water. Stone. More stone. And void, empty space. A stone island in the middle of nowhere! You think they're be water there? Probably not. Or maybe, because it's not in their "home land", they get scared and teleport away.
2. But why do creepers explode?
Answer: They are kamikaze warriors sent by Herobrine. 'Nuff said.
3. But why are there biomes, not seasons?
Answer: This Minecraft world is post-apocalyptic, and somehow this "apocalypse" or whatever happened, stopped the world from orbiting around the sun, at the Earth started spinning a lot faster, and it stopped orbiting in the month of April. That's why night is a little shorter than day. Back to the question, biomes were created by a mad scientist, having in experiment of making winter in the middle of summer, and vice versa. After/during the "apocalypse", it happened to explode and spread infinitely across the world.
4. But why does the world stop at 30,000,000 blocks?
Answer: It seems to continue on infinitely. There's invisible bedrock... This is hard. Maybe because this wall of invisible bedrock is made of dark matter. Even is Steve is strong enough to carry 64x36 square meters of SOLID GOLD, this "wall" is so dense that it goes through the whole world and wraps around it. Steve is not strong enough to break this invisible barrier.
5. But why can Steve break LOGS with his HANDS?
Answer: Well if you think that's impossible when one can carry 2304 SQUARE METERS OF SOLID GOLD + GOLD armor, you must be crazy.
6. But why is it so easy to craft a sword without a smithery? Or something.
Answer: Eh... Magic. 'Nuff said. Once again.
7. But why are my items still inside different enderchests?
Answer: The enderchests use a special tracking system to track you (uh, duh?) and transport your items to the nearest enderchest. Somehow. Magic. Magic is the answer to everything.
8. But why do creepers only drop records only when slain by a skeleton?
Answer: Skeleton arrows have a special power of extracting gunpowder and other components of creeper and condensing them into a record/disc/whatever you want to call it.
9. and 10. But why do pumpkins grow/spawn with faces already carved in? and why do pumpkins make iron golems and snow golems come to life?
Answer: Well, for 10, they have a face. Why the face? Pumpkins have some kind of life force in them which causes them to be like a sponge, alive, but immobile. That's why they have a face and make golems come to LIFE! Life = duh, life force.
11. But why does cobblestone float, and not gravel? Gravel is a bunch of rocks together. Cobblestone is a bunch of rocks together. Minecraft, y u no make sense?
Answer: I got nothin'. Unicorns and magic. There, you happy? You better be.
All right, fine. It's because stone floats, right? So the rocks that come out of that stone float too.
