Hello! Can somebody please help me with my port forwarding problem? It allways says it was successful but when I try out the server it doesn't. I have a Belkin F9K1002v1 router model which, sadly, isn't on portforward.com. I would not ask for help if I didn't really need it. All responses are greatly appreciated.
Oh, I also have followed all of the instructions on this page: http://www.planetminecraft.com/blog/how-to-make-a-minecraft-server/

Try following instructions for either
  • F9K1003v1
  • F9K1102v1
  • Probably almost the same.

  • In your picture UDP isn't enabled. Change the box to mean both udp and tcp.

Just do one port forward, but have it say 'both'
Save it then close your entire browser. Relogin and check it has saved correctly.
Then startup your server, and try to connect using your WAN (internet) IP. Not your localhost or local ip.

If that doesn't work you *could* try to enable a 'DMZ' on your router, but you shouldn't have to.

Otherwise you might have to use Hamachi

Simple thing to try, make sure your computers firewqall is off, or allowes minecraft server to communicate.
