Capn Sybbyl's Review DrewperCraft 3.0





First Impressions are everything, and this one wasn't very good. I spawned next what I believe is spawn, outside, in the desert.



After finding the point where i believe I was supposed to spawn, I'm not entirely sure who put up these signs, but it's unorganized and unprofessional. There's a path ahead of me, and every other block is a sign, also whoever wrote them is obviously young, they have terrible spelling and grammar. If my assumptions are correct, this server is being run by a single person, but I can't tell because it is empty. It's just me and the owner, who is afk at this moment.



Though the spawn is well built on the outside, this basic spawn point is unorganized, cluttered with signs and ruined by bad grammar, which is everywhere.



The inside of this spawn is also... the only word I can find is young, as though it were built by a 10 year old who happens to have good skills. The directional signs are posted on giant candy canes, there are no walls separating the different areas and again, its cluttered with structures in what seems to be a desperate attempt to fill the space.



Clearly this is a simple survival building server, as that was the focus of the signs, to tell people rules about building and to state where to go over and over again.



The shop is also messy, sell signs actually stuck to the block being sold, making ores difficult to find anyways, it seems somewhat grouped, but also seems to not have some of the things players should be able to buy. The sign telling me what command to use to see my balance is posted four times side by side to cover the width of the path im walking on, this is unnecessary, and a bit unprofessional.



The signs directing me to the player shop (filled with grammar flaws) were misleading, I cannot find the player shop.



After being attacked by a spider, I found that Mob attacks are not disabled in spawn, this is very unfavorable. I would be willing to bet PVP is also not disabled, but I cannot make that confirmation at this moment.



There wasn't much else to explore after this... There truly was only the spawn here, if I were to sum up my view on this short period of time I spent here, in no attempt to blacklist I would say this server is unfinished, and not well thought through. I have no motivation to play, which is something every server owner should strive to achieve, this is simply a building server that happens to be PVP survival. If I were to offer my advice, Id say the Owner should hire some staff with experience to repair the problems with organization and play style.

My reviews are based solely on the outlook of the player, and therefore I express my full and honest opinion, this is all constructive criticism that I hope the Owner will take into consideration, these issues that I have now brought to their attention may be resolved, and will most likely boost their amount of players after such repairs have been made. I do not mean for what I say to blacklist the server in any way, this is why my reviews are done strictly on the First impressions os the server, I do not do reviews on the staff attitude, nor player base, and I do not spend any long period of time playing the server.
