Cave Spider

Cave Spiders are neutral mobs that can poison any mob.

Cave Spiders ONLY spawn from monster spawners found in abandoned mineshafts

They rop 0-2 string and has a 1/3 chance of dropping a spider eye (probaly not the best mob to hunt spider eyes..) They also drop 5 experience orbs upon death if killed by a tamed wolf or player.

Cave spiders inherit most of their behavior from regular spiders:

• They are pacified (made neutral) by bright light (daylight or light levels of 9 or higher). Likewise, subjecting them to darkness will render them hostile.
  
• They can climb walls when needed.
  
• They attack by leaping at the player.
  
• They are not affected by cobwebs or poison
  
  

However, cave spiders will not spawn with beneficial status effects and cannot spawn as spider jockeys.

When a cave spider bites you with their mighty teeth (sounds weird but oh well..) the bitten entity is inflicted by poison I for 7 seconds in normal difficulty and 15 seconds on hard mode.
