The Prophecy Tree was a tree which grew in a secret passage underneath the Church of Notch in the capital of Iron Mere. It had blue leaves and a single, great eye above the Book of Prophecies, After the Book was destroyed, it respawned, The tree is immortal and invincible and looks at people curiously, it's occupation is showing the prophecy and its powers are changing the prophecy which automatically respawns if taken.
The tree is indeed sentient but cant speak & its eye cant be damaged, it cant also be burnt down like normal trees, it also cant be removed & transported, it cant also be chopped down, or destroyed in any manner with any weapon, if someone tries to rip it out, they will only hurt themselves.

The secret passage is cold, dark and quiet, the stone walls are damp and the atmosphere is dense with a thin mist. The sound of water droplets falling can be heard and a faint blue light can be seen in the distance
The water dripping from the ceiling of the passage was warm & it dripped down in beads, creating a small pool of warm water around the base.
You approach the tree, it's leaves were a dark shade of blue & it had a single eye over the Book of Prophecies
The eye of the tree looked at you curiously, as it silently watched you get closer
The closer you get the more details you can see, the eye has a dark pupil & the roots of it are surrounded by a blue glowing aura
You look through the tome of prophecies, it's filled with many prophecies ranging from ones that are currently true, to others that have yet to be answered
The prophecies span from ancient times all the at to the present day in which one prophecy specifically is incomplete
The prophecy about the plot of Portal 2 is written down in the ancient language, Travisanse. The prophecy speaks in great details of the events of the game
The eye of the tree watched you closely as you read the prophecy, as if it were almost curious to see how you would react to such a prophecy as this
The prophecy tree was said to be ancient & had a strong, deep connection with Time, being able to show the past, present & future of the world. The tree cannot speak but is sentient & has a single eye to watch people & its only spoken language is the ancient Travisansse

The church was originally built in the 1300s, as part of a new wave of Christianity which started spreading thru Europe, the church was built on top of the secret passage as it was the only available land where you could build the church
The tunnel system connecting the church to the bunkers underneath are vast & numerous, they span over various levels & in total, there are roughly 37 different ways you could travel the tunnels & find the secret bunker underneath the church
The story describes that the tree was a gift from an unknown power, being placed deep in the secret passage to guide people through their futures & it’s powers of prophecy, the story also describes the tree as an immortal entity which no harm can be done upon
