Hello planetminecraft!

This tutorial (click "Play" above to start) shows how to build a 100% automatic food farm, aka a "set and forget" farm. You build it, then all you have to do is occasionally pick up supplies from a chest.

My whole goal with this farm was to harvest a wide variety of crops in as small of an area as possible. This farm produces: eggs, red mushrooms, brown mushrooms, melon, sugarcane, and pumpkin, all in a closet-sized area. That's why I like to call this the "Closet Farm!"

Of course, because it's so small, it's not the best option if you're trying to feed an entire server. But for 1-2 players, this design is ideal, and no fancy home is complete without one!

it works, but the redstone stays active until night comes around. Any idea why?

"Stays active" like the pistons are always extended? (Except the Mushroom one) Or "stays active" like the Redstone is glowing, but not actually doing anything?

Like the redstone does not turn off until dark comes around.

What redstone? The redstone powering the pistons or the redstone coming out of the daylight sensors?
