This is going to be a three part series on Consoles vs PC.
So, around the internet you see stuff like
PC MASTER RACE W00T! EAT IT DIRTY CONSOLE PEASANTS!
CONSOLE SUX!!!1!!!1!
PC FTW!!1
and various things like that. well, What's the difference?
To understand this fight a bit more, lets go back in time to the 60's and 70's
"But Kirito, that was the Middle Ages! They had computers and Modern Technology back then?" You may ask.
Well, The computers were very Primitive compared to the ones we have now, but they were very powerful for their time. Mainstream gaming essentially started on consoles. Yes, the origin was on missile tracking computers, but mainstream gaming was due to consoles. Then Arcades came out, but those aren;'t what I'm talking about, so we'll skip over that.

In this Early bring gaming into the house period, there was the  Atari 2600, NES, and other systems you are probably familiar with, but lets look at the Intellivision. This system, which is largely overlooked due to its popularity being overshadowed by the Atari 2600, had the first RPG on it AD&D:Treasure of Tarmin. You owe Skyrim's existence to this game! Skyrim is a favorite for PC gamers due to the Modability. And look: it was a console game! What a surprise! *Sarcasm*

During this Early period, PC gaming wasn't really a thing. PCs were really just OS's and Glorified Word Processors.  The only games for them were really mainly Text Adventures and small roguelikes. A Smartphone today has more Game Playing capability. The Commodore 64 was where it was at. This baby was the beginning of the age of what we now know of as the PC Era. This thing could run BASIC, and had plenty of great games. You can still find some for your computer if you loook. I recommend you get some. The text adventures are nothing but Superb! and some games for it still hold up really well. Sorry, I'm getting sidetracked. This was the age that showed PCs really had an edge over consoles, and PC Gaming became huge.

Now, Look at us, screaming at each other about which version of CoD was better the PC or PS4, The PC gamers cry Supreme, but really, they have their roots in consoles, and so, could consoles really reign supreme? We'll find out in the next part!

I like my consoles, but I also like my pc.  IDK which one I like better.  I think the ps1 had great games like FFvii, but the pc has an enhanced version.

((Oh, and I recently got a n64.  Now I have an xbox original, xbox 360, ps2, ps1, gba, gamecube, and finally, the n64.))   You mentioned Skyrim.  You should see The Elder Scrolls Daggerfall.  TES Daggerfall was probably the best TES game.

The question 'They had computers and modern technology back then' needs a question mark. Beyond that, I enjoy reading your writing style. Even if your grammar and such needs some work (I suck at grammar probably worse than you :P), you are direct and it sounds good. I  want more.

Thanks! When I write blogs, my Grammar goes out the window due to the freaking formatting.

My first game was The Thing when i was four. Probably not the best game to give to a four year old, But it was AWESOME!

The Thing?  You mean the game that was made off of the horror movie?  I was playing many violent games back then, but not as gory as the Thing.  Lol.
