blogpostbyjopngHello people of Planet Minecraft and welcome to another art! Today, I was bored and at my grandparents so I did an art by hand of Cyprezz. When I got home I used gimp to colour it in. The sketching part took about 30 mins probably, adjusting the colour balance, lightness and saturation took about 10 mins xD, and colouring it took about 30 mins. I'm quite happy with the result as it looks quite 3D and I'm happy with the shadows and highlighs, although I think his face looks a bit.... flat, but I don't know how to make that better ._.

Its nice but the head.... Is too big for the body?It just doesnt fit the body.But overall its good.

I think it's about the same proportions as in his avatar :3 it's supposed to look kids big :P

It's nice, but to be honest I don't think it is pop. reel material. As said in previous comments, the arms definitely need some work. I'm no artist, so don't expect any life changing advice from me. It is obviously good, but I don't think it is close to great. It looks very cartoonish, but not "crisp" like most drawings like this. I can't really describe whats wrong with it, it just isn't uber-appealing.

No offense to you, you're a great blogger and PMC-er. I just don't think this is great.

I might go over the lines tomorrow, of that's the problem. The thing is, when I did this my dad was out and I don't know how to use the scanner, hence why it took so long to adjust the contrast to make it colourable-innarable (it's a word now x3).

A nice cartoon like feeling, you can use polygons, or straight line sections that are shaded, if you know what I mean. Eh I'll give something like this a go later. :3
