I'm 13 and if you know me or have seen me before you will notice I have a scar on the left side of my lip.

I got it when I was 4 years old.

I was playing in the back garden and tripped up on something, a twig possibly. I fell over and what was there waiting for my cute little face?

A Tennis Racket. Not just any racket, this was a special racket. It was broken, the strings were all over the place and just hanging out for a young child to fall on.

That young child was me and one of the strings lined up with the tip of my lip and cut about 1cm up.

Not the biggest but I was 4 years old so you can imagine the amount of tears that streamed from my face.
