HELLO!
So everyone has heard it atleast once, #yoloswag. My god, the phrase gives me a headache and too many people use hashtags in everyday life. If you didn't already know, hashtags originated on twitter to show others what you are doing for example, #writingaPMCblog. Now, people at schools, resturaunts and pretty much everywhere use it in every day language and it needs to stop. Here are some reasons I think that little number sign needs to go away.
#1: Hashtags are pointless, hashtag jokes are stupid and people who use them are giant jerks. The problem with Twitter hashtags, other than the fact that metadata doesn't belong in your content, is that people who use Twitter insist on linking that crap on Facebook, Google Plus, MySpace and every other website and widget they can possibly link to their stupid accounts.
#2:The whole point of hashtags (or tagging in general) is that it allows people to easily categorize certain posts, and like categories, you should only use them when you're searching for something, not to make some stupid joke about how obscure your "topic" is.
#3: That pound sign—which was probably once the least pressed button on a phone's dial pad—has now infiltrated every single social network, every form of text communication and will eventually, override the spoken English language. We need to stop this immediately.
But that is my opinion, let me know what you think in the comments, thanks for taking your time to read this.
BYE!

I feel that the afformentioned "yoloswag" was used as a joke after a while, as people noticed that it made no sense and therefor, had no weight elsewhere. I also think that "#yoloswag" has nothing to do with the semantics of a "hashtag", as it is one of the infinite number of hashtags today. Also, I think that hashtags are important, a way of sorting certain pictures from others, sports posts from video game posts, mature content from non-adult material. Although most hashtags aren't used that way as much as they should be, it would be more anarchy if they were gone on things that rely on them, than if they stayed and kept their stupid users like the "yoloswag"ers, and the "420blazeit"ers.
Thanks for your time.
EDIT: Sorry errorkn, I was in a argumentative mood :3 I also wanted to point out, you make fabulous skins!
