So, what you will need is 2 minecraft users(you are one of them) and they have to play on 2 different computers.
step 1:create a world on one of the computers(or load one).
step 2:get some stuff (you need something to duplicate)
step 3:login to the same computer, but with the second user
step 4:login with the first user on the other computer
step 5:open world to LAN on the first computer
step 6:join it on the other one
step 7:done!

why it works is because items are saved with the player and computer at same time
