Note: The debaters only had a week to research these characters, so we FULLY ADMIT that this info could totally not be 💯 correct.
Note: The debaters are meant to argue for their team regardless of who they think would really win. This isn’t meant to be an official answer to the debate lol.
Why this matchup?
We found this idea from a site that gave the following reasons for the matchup
- Two unadorned, quirky, light-hearted, and endearing protagonists with charmingly simple designs from blocky worlds that are franchises centered around imagination and creative freedom (Minecraft and Lego respectively).
- Both are builders of immense skill who gather block materials from their environment and construct complex structures in quick succession. (Steve gathers various blocks from his environment to build various structures of the player’s choice, while Emmet is a master builder who uses his lego blocks to build whatever he can think of).
- Similarly they use various hand tools to gather these resources (Steve’s various pieces of standard equipment such as his pickaxes, and shovels and Emmet’s various construction tools), although they can still just use their bare hands.
- Both would embark on journeys, taking them across their blocky worlds and beyond, to even entirely different planes of existence (The End for Steve and the real world for Emmet).

The Last Kirbalorian is debating for team Steve
Sithfruit is debating for team Emmet
BEFORE WE START…
Steve will be getting everything he can get within Survival Mode and the lore of Minecraft.
Something we need to consider is the fact that Steve is a 6’2 human and Emmet is a 2 inch LEGO figurine. Emmet essentially cannot do anything to Steve because it is extremely hard for him to even move in the human world.

In order to make this an interesting fight, we’re going to be putting them at similar sizes in a crossover world where both combatants can use their abilities effectively, which means Steve isn’t gonna be simply stepping on Emmet and taking an ez W.

The next thing we need to clarify is how Minecraft physics work. There’s a big misconception that Steve can carry multiple stacks golden block and other items at the same time, which would make him ridiculously strong. However, that simply isn’t how it works in Minecraft lore. When a player picks up a block or any item, it shrinks and goes into a little pocket dimension. Also, when a player breaks through a block, it doesn’t depend on their strength, but rather the amount of times they hit it. To put it simply, when a player breaks these blocks or carries them it has nothing to do with strength. For info on how it works, we HIGHLY recommend watching Smash Bracket’s video on a Minecraft Battle Royale. (Skip to time code 11:20) ➡️ https://youtu.be/Fu9SHI7Y9Oc?si=bcMu67brUJ059oNG
We ask you to vote based on the info given and not on your personal bias! The researchers put a lot of work and effort into this, so we would highly appreciate it if you read before voting!

Let’s Begin!
Steve CRAFTS His Victory in PMC DEATH BATTLE!

Wiki Description
Steve is the default male skin in Minecraft. While Steve is physically identical to Alex in his build, he is more creatively inclined. He prefers spend his time mining and perfecting his skills with alchemy. He also wrote a list of his "Fressons": lessons to help Alex learn how to be a better friend to the denizens of Minecraft. In combat, this translates to him being much more prone to stay back and analyze the situation, and engage only when the perfect moment strikes.
Steves Resistance
Steve can survive an explosion five meters away from 16 sticks of TNT without any armor. Any normal human would die almost instantly. A stick of TNT outputs energy of around 4 Gigajoules, so 16 would produce around 16 Gigajoules. If he wore armor it would likely be MUCH more, but I did not have time to check.
He can survive a hit from 51,918 pounds or 23,550 kilograms falling from 10 meters in the air directly on his head without any armor. From dropping an anvil from ten blocks up. An anvil is made with 3 solid 1x1 meters of iron.
He can survive being submerged in lava for about 3 seconds, lava is 1,300 Celsius and 2,200 Fahrenheit. This may not be that impressive of a feat as that is around the normal amount of time, however he can walk int the lava and walk out having been set on fire by the flames and easily survive, only taking around half of his health. And Steve is clearly not very flammable as the flames go out in mere seconds.
Steve is shown to not require any food or water to survive, the only time he needs food is when he is actively running around wasting stamina and he might start getting hurt if he does not eat, but that is not really a problem as he has a huge inventory. He is also shown not to have any vulnerability to drastic temperatures unless he is directly in the source of the extreme temperature. But that is not a problem with Fire Resistance.
He is also Able to survive being shot with an arrow and it only takes up 1 to 2 hearts each time. And with Netherite on it takes up 0 to half a heart every three or so hits.
And he is basically invincible to everything if he has a totem of undying in his hand.
Strength
He is able use a fishing rod to easily lift an Iron Golem a few blocks in the air. An Iron golem is made using 4 solid blocks of iron and a pumpkin. That is easily being able to lift 69,224 pounds with ease. Smash Bracket - "That's like hitting someone with a car at highway speeds two and a half times over."
Plus he can drink a strength potion to add to it. And he can also takes these hits with ease too.
Artillery
Steve has access to every item in the game which would give him the following. (These are simply some of the best)
Potions
Potion of Invisibility
Potion of Healing
Potion of Fire Resistance
Potion of Regeneration
Potion of Strength
Potion of Swiftness
Potion of Leaping
Potion of Slow Falling
Potion of Poison
Potion of Weakness
Potion of Harming
Potion of Slowness
Potion of the Turtle Master
Armor
Fully Enchanted Netherite Gear such as-
Netherite Helmet
Netherite Chest Plate
Netherite Leggings
Netherite Boots
Inventory Space
941 Stacks of items including armor spaces and off hand. And if he is riding on a donkey with a chest 956.
Weapons
Totems of Undying
Bow with tipped arrows such as Poison, Instant Damage, Slowness, Blindness, Levitation,
Fully enchanted Netherite Sword
Fully enchanted Netherite Axe
Fully enchanted Netherite Pickaxe
Stacks of Ender Pearls
Trident
Elytra
Shield
Lava Bucket
Anvils
Cob Webs
Food
Stacks of Enchanted Golden Apples
Blocks
Netherite Blocks
Obsidion Blocks
Again this isn't even everything he can have these are just some of the best. His totems of undying completely stop him from dying fully and just instantly bring him back to life once he does, as long as he is holding one. He can also dodge arrows shot from Skeletons, and he has been shown to be launched of a cliff by a goat.
END OF ANALYSIS
Emmet Constructs His Way into PMC DEATH BATTLE!

Wiki Description
Emmet Joseph Brickowski is a Master Builder, construction worker and the main protagonist of The LEGO Movie franchise. He is dubbed as "the Special" after finding the Piece of Resistance following Vitruvius's prophecy 8 ½ years later in the first movie. He is the one who is prophesied to save the universe with the Piece of Resistancefrom Lord Business who intends to use a powerful relic called the Kragle, dubbing him as "the Special".
Emmet’s Skills and Abilities
Emmet is a Master Builder, which means he can take apart and rebuild entire structures or buildings into a variety of different things in a matter of seconds, such as…
• a small bridge
• a triple unicycle
• a monster truck
• a triple decker couch mech
• a buggy
•a giant toaster
• a Chevy Silverado??
• Probably his post powerful creation, the Construct-o Mech
More on the Construct-o Mech
The Construct-o Mech should obviously be more powerful than Emmet’s physical strength, which I will talk about later on below, and it is able to contend with groups of powerful enemies, such as the giant, flying, laser-shooting robots, MICROMANGERS!

Skill
He was skilled enough to take on Lord Business’ Elite Guard Squad
Emmet’s Physiology
Being a LEGO means that Emmet can bend his back and spin his head to inhuman degrees without harming himself. He is also able to walk upside down on Lego objects.

Emmet’s Gear
Just looking at the movies it’s easy to come to the conclusion that Emmet’s arsenal mainly comes from his ability to build things with the items around him, but things get a bit more interesting when we look at the two Lego Movie video games. Here are some things…
• a wrench that can repair broken machinery
• a jackhammer, which is capable of destroying a house
• scanner binoculars, which can make intangible things tangible
• a generator, which can power machines and electrify water
• Unkitty’s sprinkler, which can put out flames
• Danger Fists, which allow him to punch through solid rocks and large crystals
• Unkitty’s wand, which can change the color of objects… okay?
• a Wielding kit, which can repair machinery
• Batman’s Batclaw, which allows him to grapple upwards and pull objects towards him
• a Tractor Beam, which allows him to lift heavy objects
• my personal favorite, his own micromanager bot, which is stronger than Wildstyle and can assist him in combat
➡️

Emmet’s Strength/Attack Power
Easily Wall Level:
• As shown above, Emmet can easily perform feats, such as punching through walls of solid rock and even large crystals
• Emmet punched a hole through a street
Large Building Level:
Being a Master Builder means that Emmet should be capable of easily tearing apart buildings and large structures and remaking them into whatever they wish.
• Emmet tore apart a street and built a building sized Mech in seconds.
• Lifted Wildstyle over his shoulder, which means he should be comparable in strength to her. (Wildstyle tore apart a building in seconds)
Probably Large Building Level idk?? (probably a lot higher)
• It’s implied that Emmet was able to destroy the entire structure of Batman’s wedding with a single punch. I couldn’t find a calc for this feat, but visually speaking, it’s very impressive. ⬇️ (this move was actually taught to Emmet by Rex Dangervest, who I will get more into later because this punch is actually a lot stronger than this feat shows)

Possibly At Least Large City Level (likely higher than that at Mountain Level):
I was actually really surprised to find this! And it doesn’t even require any ridiculous stretching! It’s just basic scaling!
• Emmet should be at least be somewhat comparable to Rex Dangervest in strength.
Why?
• Rex Dangervest is the one who mentors Emmet throughout the second movie. (He’s actually the one who taught Emmet to do the punch that destroyed Batman’s wedding structure.)
• Both Emmet and Rex are of the human species
• (SPOILERS!) Rex is literally just an alternate version Emmet from the from the future, which shows that Emmet is quite literally capable of the same things!
• Emmit was straight up able to fight back and forth with Rex near the end of the movie after all of his training.
So how strong is Rex Dangervest?

• To start off, Rex can easily kick around buses
• But his most impressive feat was when he easily destroyed an asteroid with a single punch!!! ⬇️

• Held back Superman??? Uh… okay…
This means that in order for Emmet to contend with himself he would need strength similar to… uh, well… himself. With all that out of the way, Emmet is at least Large City Level in his attack power when fighting at his best.
Emmet’s Speed/Reaction Speed
• As a Master Builder, Emmet is capable of running around and building things at blinding speeds.
Subsonic Reactions speeds and movements:
• Emmet is capable of dodging blaster fire coming all around him.
• Even the old man, Vitruvius was capable of dodging and deflecting blaster fire all around him.
Possibly Lightspeed:
• This is assuming the lasers being fired move at lightspeed, which there is no info on, so this might be a bit of a stretch.
Emmet’s Durability/Survivability
• Emmet survived a crash to earth that destroyed a large chunk of the ground with no injuries afterwards

• An alternate version of himself was hit by a heart bomb and had no visible injuries afterwards

Note: These heart bombs are easily strong enough to blow apart buildings!

• Emmet has tanked two of these at the same time before
Should easily range from Building Level to more likely Large City Level to possibly Mountain Level in his durability:
• Emmet can take attacks from characters who are just as strong as he is, such as Rex Dangervest, which means his durability has to be similar to his strength.
Emmet’s Weaknesses
Emmet is generally a really friendly guy who doesn’t prefer to fight violently unless he has to. This could possibly lead to his opponents getting the upper hand on him.
END OF ANALYSIS
The Last Kirbalorian's Conclusion
Steve's ability to use an Elytra and rockets to fly around would most likely give him high advantages in maneuverability. Hey can fly around at crazy speeds too. And with is bow he could attack from far away and use tipped arrows to potentially hit Emmet. And plus he has his trident which he could just throw at Emmet and strike lightning at him and light him on fire. However you may say Emmet can dodge the arrows as shown with something similar. What would Emmet do when Steve suddenly becomes invisible? Once Steve splashes his head with invisibility and swiftness he could sneak over to Emmet and throw a couple potions on him, such as, Slowness, Blindness, Weakness, and Instant Damage. This would almost completely take away his main advantages as he would now not be able to see to build, run fast enough to dodge his arrows, and be strong enough to probably even hurt Steve. And Emmet wouldn't even be able to hear Steve moving around as sneaking is shown to remove any sound you make, and if he is wearing swift sneak and has the swiftness effect, he could move basically just as fast as before not that he would necessarily need to. And Emmets Construct-o Mech wouldn't even be able to get him if he is flying hundreds of meters in the air. And then not even just that, his totems. Steve's totems simply make him unkillable (Or at least he won't stay dead). Steve's totems make it impossible for Emmet to win if he constantly holds one, and with his over 900 inventory slots, PLUS bundles. Bundles allow you to stack unstackable items which would then multiply his original possible totem amount by 64. This means if Steve only brought Totems and maybe some armor, Emmet would then have to kill him around 60,224 times. Emmet would need to be killed 1 time to lose. So, Steve might be able to die a bit easier, he has a lot more lives so it barley matter. And Steve wouldn't even need to bring only totems because everything else he'd need to kill him would definitely not take up nearly that many slots. So it all comes down to, yes Emmet possibly has the advantage in many things by a bit, it doesn't change that Steve can't really die for a LONG period of time. And yes he may make a bunch of mistakes he has probably learned from those and is likely to not make them again.
Sithfruit’s Counclusion
Let’s get a few things out of the way. No matter what way you put it, Emmet is physically WAY stronger than Steve. Emmet is easily on the level of destroying asteroids, while Steve is… maybe like wall level or something at best. (Probably a higher with his equipment) Even if you wanna reach and say that Steve is strong enough break through layers is stone in the ground (which would require you to just ignore the lore of Minecraft) Emmet being capable of easily tearing apart buildings and likely even destroying asteroids would probably put him way above Steve in terms of raw Attack Potency.
Emmet should also be far faster than Steve in terms of movement speed. Both have similar reaction speeds, (Steve can dodge arrows and Emmet can dodge blaster bolts, though I would argue Emmet still takes reaction speed, since Vitruvius, an old man, was able to deflect MULTIPLE blaster bolts at the same time) but it’s very clear that Emmet would still take speed easily, since his movement speed allows him to to move so fast he looks like a blur. Steve MIGHT be able to react to a few hits from Emmet, but saying he could consistently keep up is just being dishonest. Even comparing Steve’s fastest potions effects, it still wouldn’t be enough to keep up. Also, Emmet’s Lego physiology would give him another edge in flexibility and agility as well.
And then we have durability. This is actually very simple. Steve has been shown to easily be able to get killed from falling off of high cliffs. Even with his armor on he can die from certain heights. (Note: The enchantment, feather falling, is specifically meant to stop the damage of hitting the ground and does NOT increases Steve’s actual durability, so this is essentially meaningless) Emmet, on the other hand, has been able to survive a full on launch to his earth that destroyed a MASSIVE chunk of the ground. And guess what… he’s totally fine. Nope, not one scratch. There’s also the fact that he can tank heart bomb, which are capable of easily destroying buildings, to the face AND a full force punch from someone WHO IS CAPABLE OF EFFORTLESSLY DESTROYING ASTEROIDS! Yeah, this isn’t close in terms of durability. Sorry, Steve.
Next we have their kit/arsenals. It’s no surprise that Steve at his maximum potential would have FAR many more options and much bigger variety of items, but Emmet is no slouch in that regard either.
• Steve builds an iron golem for assistance on ground? Emmet can bring out his own Micromanager, which could simply fly out of reach and snipe the both of them.
• Steve uses a horse? Emmet can build a MONSTER TRUCK.
• Steve uses lava or fire? Emmet can simply use Unkitty’s sprinkler to put it out.
• Steve tries to use his elytra and fireworks to get away? Emmet can simply pull him right back down to the ground with his Tractor Beam or Batclaw (which could either pull him to Steve or pull Steve to him). Even if that doesn’t work, his Micromanager could simply snipe Steve out of the air.
• Steve somehow summons an army of iron golems? Emmet could simply build the Construct-o Mech and get rid of all of them.
Finally, we have Skill and Experience. It’s no secret that Emmet started out as a rookie and came into his career a bit late, but DO NOT be fooled. Steve is no better. That’s the difference between Steve and Alex.

Alex is known for being a fearless, brave, experienced hero, while for Steve, it’s quite literally part of the lore that he constantly makes the worst decisions in combat, such as…
• Digging straight down into lava

• Having poor weapon choices in battle

• Preferring to play with bunnies rather than assisting Alex in combat

To put it simply, Steve isn’t exactly the greatest combatant in terms of skill or experience either. However, I do believe Emmet would take the edge in this regard. Steve has to rely on crafting his way to victory rather than facing his enemy head on. Emmet may not be the greatest fighter near the start of his movie, but near the end of it, he has been able to easily defeat Lord Business’ Micromanagers and his Elite Guards head on. Not only is Emmet creative and crafty, but unlike Steve, he can get become a tough hand-to-hand fighter when he puts his mind to it, so he should take the edge in skill.
Now, let’s take a a look at how everything sums up. Emmet is FAR Stronger, FAR faster, FAR more durable, and more skilled, while Steve’s only has ONE edge with his arsenal being technically larger and more varied than Emmet’s. I mean, think about it. Steve has potions of swiftness, harming, poisoning, invisibility, etc. He even has Totems of Undying, which can resurrect him and much more. Now, allow me to explain why these aren’t as big of a deal as they may seem to some of you.
Potion of Strength: It’s only a 3x multiplier, which isn’t even remotely close enough to match Emmet’s strength.
Potion of Swiftness: Emmet can move so fast he looks like a blur (he’s basically like Sonic when he does this) Steve’s potions can help him, but they can’t make his speed on par with Emmet’s. Not even close.
Potions of slowness: Assuming this takes away half of Emmet’s speed, it wouldn’t matter. Even possessing half of his speed he would still have an advantage over Steve.
• All of these effects are only temporary
Steve has many other potions and tools as well, which may seem to give him some sort of advantage. The problem is that in order for any of these to work, Steve has to actually HIT Emmet, which would be extremely hard to do, since Emmet is way faster. Steve’s best bet here would be to use a potion of invisibility so that he could sneak up behind Emmet and hit him with a blindness potion. Now, I will admit that Emmet has no specific counter to this, but it doesn’t really matter. First of all, this is assuming Steve is even tactically smart enough to make decisions like this. (which he likely wouldn’t be) Second, all this will do is buy him time, not allow him to win. I am not convinced that Steve has a single thing in his arsenal that could effectively kill Emmet. Emmet has survived far worse than anything Steve can dish out. Steve uses TNT? Emmet has tanked TWO building destroying heart explosions to the face, with no injuries. Emmet has also tanked being launched to earth and even being hit by a Master Builder Punch from Rex (as I’ve listed before, this specific punch was strong enough to easily shatter an asteroid) To put it simply, Emmet can essentially tank everything in Steve’s arsenal with no problem.
The final problem we run into are Steve’s totems of undying.
1. We have no way of knowing how many of these Steve would even carry.
2. These items have to be held in one of Steve’s hand for them to even work.
3. These totems will literally float in front of your face when they are used, meaning Emmet could easily take note of this after killing Steve once and simply use his superior speed and strength to take it away from Steve’s hand before killing him.
And all of this is assuming Steve makes sure to have one in his hand AT ALL TIMES, which he probably wouldn’t.
All of Steve’s best strategies would have to come from him either getting away from Emmet in order to build a machine or somehow sneaking up on Steve to get an effect on him. These are all very questionable, but even if they worked, they would only delay the inevitable result of Emmet one shotting and running around him so fast he doesn’t have time to make use of any of these strategies. But before I finish, I want to mention one more thing. This is a fight where Steve will be fine until the moment Emmet starts taking it seriously because the moment he does, he’s going to quickly build his Construct-o Mech. This is important because Steve literally just won’t be able to harm him or touch him while he is in it. None of Steve’s strategies with his potions would matter when he simply cannot touch Emmet. Even if Steve somehow managed to blow up the Construct-o Mech with TNT (assuming it’s strong enough to hurt it), Emmet, being as fast as he is, could simply run around and rebuild it in a few seconds with ease. Remember, unlike Steve, Emmet’s ability to build comes from instantly using all of his surroundings, not from slowly gathering up materials one by one. This means that Emmet essentially has an endless supply of building materials. There’s also the fact that Steve would need a lot more time to build with what he has than Emmet would. With Emmet’s advantage, he’s going to simply outpace him in every single building race and kill him or destroy any of his weapons before he can make use of them. As I have stated before, Emmet can build his machines in mere seconds!
At the end of the day, the only thing Steve is gonna be CRAFTING in this fight are his medical bills.
Emmet’s Advantages
+ far stronger
+ faster movement speeds
+ far more durable than anything Steve can dish out
+ has a answers to a lot of Steve’s kit
+ can build WAY faster than Steve
+ can rebuild anything of his own in mere seconds
+ likely more skilled
+ Construct-o Mech would protect him from nearly anything Steve has
+ Construct-o Mech could easily destroy Steve and all of his work
+ likely won’t run out of materials to build with
+ has the power to one shot Steve over and over again
= similar reaction speed
Disadvantages
- arsenal is obviously smaller and less varied
- his kind hearted nature could possibly allow Steve to get the upper hand for a moment (though, the same could be said for Steve)
AND WITH THAT, THE DEBATE ENDS!
Alright, you have all voted in the Steve VS Emmet Debate Blog! It is now time to see the results!

Steve

“…” (mute character)
Emmet

“I'll never grow up to be like you. It's easy to harden your heart. But to open it... That's the toughest thing you can do. I'm gonna grow up. But I won't stop caring about the people in my life. They may see the world differently, but that's not bad. I think it's inspiring. Because everything's... not awesome. But we can make it a little more awesome if we remember... We're not alone in this world. We're in it together."
The combatants are set!

IT’S TIME FOR A PMC DEATH BATTLE!!!
The scene opens with Emmet waking up and doing his morning routine. Suddenly, a bird flies by his porch and drops an envelope. Emmet tilts his head in curiosity and picks it up.
Emmet: “Hm? What do we have here?”
Emmet would then tear it open and examine the letter inside. It read…

Emmet smiles confidently and bursts out of his front door.
Emmet: “Alright, first target, here I come!”
The scene then shifts to Steve in the comfort of his warm house, studying a book of enchantments, while Alex practices sword combat on an armor stand. They both hear the sound of a knock at the door, but before they can answer it, the anonymous person is gone. Alex notices two envelopes on the grass and picks them up. She opens them and hands Steve his envelope. Alex nods after reading hers and immediately starts to suit up. Steve looks at his note, and it reads…

Steve thinks for a moment before looking back at his crafting table.
We go back to Emmet, who is walking around an empty village searching for Steve.
Emmet: “Hello? Anyone here?”
Emmet notices this area of the village seems to be vacant for the most part.
Emmet: “Oookay…”
Suddenly, Steve drops down in front of Emmet in full enchanted netherite armor.
Emmet: “Oh hey, you’re Steve, right? So look, I got this letter from the hosts saying that you and I had to meet up for a little friendly duel, and I just thought I should introduce myself first!”
As Emmet introduces himself, Steve immediately starts to drink his potions of speed and strength.
Emmet:“I’m Emmet, and I like to meet new people and make friends! It would be awesome if we could chill on my double decker couch after this! And you are…”
Steve: “…”
Emmet stares at him in an awkward silence.
Emmet: “Okay… well, I just wanted to let you know this isn’t anything personal. You seem like a pretty cool guy, and I don’t want you to get the idea that this is out of spite or anything. It’s just that the hosts are really wanting this to happen, and you know what happens when we ignore the hosts.”
Emmet walks towards Steve as he continues.
Emmet:“We’re on the same page here, righ- Hm?”
Emmet stops after realizing he just stepped in a sticky substance. He looks down to see himself standing on honey blocks, which are stopping his movements. He then looks back up to Steve, who is now crouching and giving Emmet a friendly nod. Just then he starts to hear the sound of TNT about to explode from beneath him
Emmet:”…”
The TNT explodes, sending Emmet flying through a villager’s wall and into his house.
FIGHT!
Emmet emerges from the rubble of the broken house just fine. He smiles confidently and prepares himself.
Emmet: “Alright, Mr. Minecraft, time to show you what Master Builder such as myself is capable of!”
Emmet starts to build something out of the rubble, while Steve pulls out crossbow and begins charging it. Emmet finished his build with blinding speeds, revealing he built a monster truck. Steve begins to shoot groups of three arrows of harming at Emmet as Emmet starts to drive his monster truck towards Steve. Emmet barely turns his vehicle in time to evade the arrows as he makes his way to Steve. Realizing this won’t work, Steve quickly puts on his elytra and launches himself in the sky with fireworks just in time to avoid Emmet’s monster truck.
Emmet: “Huh?”
Emmet looks up to find Steve soaring through the sky with his elytra. Steve quickly attaches fireworks to his crossbow and fires them at Steve as he soars. Emmet turns his vehicle in time to avoid the first explosion. As Emmet continues to drive, Steve spots a mountain cliff ahead of him. Steve quickly shoots the fireworks at the mountain, blowing the tip of it off and sending a large boulder-sized piece of it falling down to where Emmet is about to drive. Emmet notices the shadow of the falling object and looks up to see the boulder falling down to him.
Emmet: “That’s not good.”
Emmet jumps out of his car window, but the boulder drops onto his monster truck, crushing it in the process. Emmet looks up to see Steve getting closer to him with his elytra and aiming his crossbow. Before Steve can get his shot, Emmet pulls out his tractor beam and uses it on Steve, freezing him midair. Steve widens his eyes in surprise as Emmet pulls him to the ground. He looks up at Emmet before quickly building an iron golem. The iron golem starts trying to hit Emmet, but he dodges its attacks. As this is happening, Steve starts building more iron golems to distract Emmet. Emmet notices this and quickly backs away to build his own Micromanager bots. The Micromanagers begins to fly and snipe the iron golems. Steve tries to fly back into the air with his elytra, but a Micromanager targets him with missiles and shoots. The missiles tracks Steve and hits his elytra, tearing it in the process. Steve falls back to the ground and watches the battle between the robots and the iron golems. He quickly stands on his feet and jumps on his horse. He searches for Emmet in the crowd and finds him riding out on a triple unicycle. Steve pulls out his fishing rod and swings it at Emmet, hooking him. He then pulls back on the rod, pulling Emmet off his unicycle. Emmet falls to the ground and grunts in pain.
Emmet: “Ugh.”
Steve pulls out his bow and points it at Emmet, but before he can react, Emmet runs around him in circles like a blur. Emmet starts by taking away Steve’s bow. He then jumps and kicks Steve off his horse. Steve takes damage, but he quickly splashes himself with a potion of healing. Emmet zooms towards Steve ready to hit with full force punch to the chest. He zooms behind Steve, punching through his chest in the process, but Steve just barely pulls out a totem of undying in time to stop his death. Emmet looks back and notices the totem floating front of Steve. He watches in confusion.
Emmet: “What?”
Emmet zooms towards him again, but right before he can reach him, Steve places cobwebs in front of him, trapping Emmet. Steve taunts Emmet with multiple crouches.
Emmet: (¬、¬)
Steve splashes Emmet with a potion slowness and then a potion a poison potion… and then a potion of harming. He places TNT in the shape of an L to rub it in. He then places red stone and attaches it to a pressure plate. He taunts Emmet with a few more crouches before jumping on the pressure plate and blowing him into a building.
Emmet: “Ah! Okay, that’s it…”
Emmet uses an ender pearl to teleport behind Emmet. Emmet quickly turns around and tries to hit Steve with his wrench, but Steve blocks it with his shield. The poison effect kicks in on Emmet, causing him to flinch in pain, allowing Steve to get a hit on Emmet with his netherite sword, knocking Emmet back. Emmet backs away and builds a little turret. He starts shooting rapid fire lasers at Steve. Steve is able to block them at first, but his shield eventually breaks, causing him to start taking damage. Steve quickly throws an ender pearl to teleport behind Emmet. He drinks a potion of regeneration and pulls out his trident. He throws it at Emmet, but he jumps over it and towards Steve. In fear, Steve places cobblestone in front of himself for protection, but Emmet quickly pulls out his jackhammer and starts breaking through it to get to Steve. Just before it breaks, Steve is able to jump out of the way. Emmet emerges through the stone and dashes at Steve. Steve tries to pull out his netherite sword, but Emmet kicks him to the floor before he can do anything. Steve reaches out his hand and his trident comes back to him, nearly hitting Emmet in the process.
Emmet: “Hah! You missed!”
Steve summons lightning, striking the ceiling above Emmet and causing it to fall on him. Steve stares for a moment, but when nothing happens, he walks away. Afterwards, Emmet emerges from the rubble, bruised and feeling dizzy. Suddenly, he hears screaming and looks around to see the village and city they had been fighting in now on fire. He frowns at the sight, feeling bad for the destruction their fight is causing. He takes a deep breath and clears his mind.
Emmet: “Come on, Emmet. You just gotta focus…”
He opens his eyes in determination and begins building the Construct-o Mech at blinding speeds. Steve looks behind himself and watches the huge mech get built. He steps back in fear and builds a few more iron golems. Emmet, now in his huge mech, looks down at Steve and his army of iron golems. He smiles again…
Emmet: “I am a Master Builder!”
Emmet begins running through and swiping away all of Steve’s iron golems with ease. Steve notices Emmet is getting closer to him, so he jumps in a minecart and begins riding away at full speed. As he does this, he quickly drinks a potion of invisibility to get away from the bad situation. Emmet eventually finishes off all of the iron golems.
Emmet:“It’s time to finish this! Now… where are you?”
Emmet turns around to see Steve just staring up at him. Behind Steve are machines that shoot TNT. He built them while he was invisible. Before Emmet can do anything, Steve immediately casts another lightning strike on Emmet’s Construct-o Mech pushing it back into a building. He then flips a switch, which activates his TNT machines, causing them to shoot loads of TNT at the fallen Construct-o Mech. Steve watches in satisfaction while eating a piece of steak as the TNT begins exploding everywhere. However, Emmet quickly jumps out of his Construct-o Mech and jumps on TNT blocks as they are shot through the air. As he does this, he takes blocks of TNT and builds it into his own TNT gun at blinding speed. He then shoots a block of TNT back at Steve. Steve quickly pulls out another totem of undying in order to survive, but the explosion sends him flying. During the process of Steve falling, Emmet builds a minecart on tracks that lead up to the sky. Before Steve hits the ground Emmet pushes the minecart under him, causing him to land in it. Emmet smiles at him.
Emmet: “Gotcha.”
Emmet kicks the minecart, causing it to move upwards at full speed until it shoots into the sky. Emmet builds a giant toaster and launches himself into the sky towards Steve. Steve reaches into his pocket in search of anything he can use. As Emmet gets closer, Steve pulls out a golden sword and swings it, but Emmet catches the sword and shatters it with his bare hands.
Steve: (˚—˚)
Emmet smiles one last time before delivering a Master Builder punch to Steve, the impact sounding like an explosion💥! Emmet lands on the ground as Steve’s red body falls to the grass next to him.

Emmet:“Hm… guess we won’t be using that double decker couch after all…”

How can you imagine a lot of dialoges?
You guys made the point that he's not necessarily super strong because he stores his stuff in a pocket dimension, but what about his armor? That crap gonna be heavy as all get-out. Adding the Strength potion would actually make him a lot stronger if this is the case. Additionally, we have all SORTS of ways to make Steve stronger. He could place soul sand and have soul speed, or hit Emmet with slowness before trapping him on a block of ice above soul sand with a cobweb or whatever.
If emmet is same size steve is dead
imagine emmet gets his hands on some end crystals and obsidian?
he'd place the block and blow steve up several times, popping his totems and killing him within miliseconds
if can make a whole mech in 30 seconds, placing 1 obsidian and spamming end crystals is ez
