Greetings All,

Forgive me for creating this blog out of the blue, but there are a number of issues on this site that I feel need to be addressed. Namely there are three issues that I want to address those being people who make blogs and forum threads about the following subjects A. Complaining about Trolls needlessly B. Complaining about how this is the worst site in the entire history of the net C. and finally but definitely the most prudent people threatening to leave the site. I will discuss each issue below explaining why this issue is both annoying and stupid and why people should just knock it off. Please note this is not really a rant since I just feel like blowing off steam and want to get this off my chest so don't think I'm yelling at all of you just carefully selected individuals I'm sure you know who you all are.

Issue No. 1 Complaining about Trolls

I will say that it is bad when someone gets trolled and certainly no one diserves to get trolled, but unfortunatly we live in a world were Trolls exist. Fortunatly the number who actually intentionally troll are few and the majority of people on this site and on the net are actually quite friendly. The key is to not let it get to you. I mean why should you care about what some nobody that you've never talked to nor given any previously thought about thinks about whatever you said or posted. I mean would you care in real life. There are several ways to deal with a Troll all of which work and effectively difuses them 1. This is the least prefered method and should only be attempted if your a master argumenter and that is to turn there trolling against them. If you can out troll them they will give up. 2. Treat them like there nobodies. Act like there words mean nothing to you and put them in there proper place by acting like your more important then them, and Three do nothing. Ignore there posts, don't respond to it and don't delete it either. The number one killer of Trolls is apathy towards them, and in all cases report there posts to the mods before you do anything else.

Issue No. 2 complaning about how this is a terrible site

I have heard this complaint more times then I care to count and it is usually over the same few thing I'm not getting enough attention, some random troll said something mean to me, the mods don't care, and lets not forget my personal favorite complaining about either the setup of the site or the site itself. First off this is annoying as all hell since they are all usually very petty and are not constructive in the least. I have been on a lot of websites in my day and this one is one of the best I've ever seen. The threads in the forum are both constructive and entertaining, We have some of the most creative and intellegent individuals I've ever seen on this site, the mods actually care about whats going on, and I have been blessed to make a few friends and potential friends on this site (I'm looking at you Animatrix, Mothgirl, My archnemesis Clue, Lady Carole, and several others please inform me if I left you out). Yes this site does have its problems, but anywhere you go there are problems. You just need to learn to roll with it.

Issue No. 3 Threatening to leave the site.

I have seen this a lot in the last month and almost always there reasons for doing so are both stupid and petty, and ultimately these threats prove pointless since they almost always come back anyway in a few days after they've cooled down. Although sometimes people do have legitmate reasons for leaving such as Doughty who has left temporarily because it was interfering with his real life that was a good reason, but for every person like him we have people who threaten to leave and are back after just a few days of absence you know who you are. I will tell you this straight out that threatening to leave is stupid since chances are your just going to come back in less then a week anyway. If you need to take a break from this site fine, but don't go saying your going to leave.

Well thats it sorry if I rambled a bit I just felt like getting this off my chest. Its my hope that this blog will make at least a few people realize just how petty and dumb these types of blogs and threads are. If I left anything out or if you feel theres something I should change feel free to tell me. and please feel free to comment.
