Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments! 4. If you have any suggestions for mods I should review leave them in the comments and I will try to answer everyones comments. Well without further ado lets get too the mods!

Review #1 Millenaire.

Millenaire is one of the most popular mods out there. Its pretty simple. Find a village. Help or raid the villagers. Gain or lose there trust. Eventually do quests , trade with them and generally take part in village life. When I first installed this mod I was excited because of all the good reviews and feedback it recieved so I entered my minecraft world anticipating a phenomenal mod. However as I entered the minecraft world I fell into a gruelling pattern of regular objectives. Get wood, build a house, mine and basically survive. Although Millenaire gives you interactive npcs, villages, different cultures and new items I still feel its just another excuse to do the regular minecraft stuff. Villagers are hard to kill and do not have much benefit (except for the achievments). So usually you end up trading with the villagers to gain their trust. What do you trade them? Wood, cobble, sandstone, glass and all the other usual things you would collect in Minecraft to survive. This is usually a boring and repetitive process for me. Even though the occasional quest pops up its usually something simple like "I need feathers" or "Please deliver this item to "insert villager name here" it is just an easy way of getting trust and deniers (the games currency). You have no idea how many times I had to gather mushrooms to make a bucket of water (or healing tonic as the mans mother says) to save a man who is suffering (not really) from a spider bite to make a tiny bit of progress on the trust bar. I will give it a plus for the addictive achievments and the need to carry on but Millenaire is just boring for me. However I Iike the little addition of non-squidward villagers to the game but I feel it is more of a little addition than a game changing mod. 6/10 Ranger rating Reccomendation:Install if you want a slight difference to your minecraft world and do not want to go through a too complex installing processundefined
Review #2 Minecolony
I love this mod. When I reveiwed Millenaire I said collecting the resources to trade with the villagers was boring and repetitive but this mod completely changes that. My 1 dream in the minecraft world was too make a thriving kingdom or village where I was king and I could defend the villagers while managing the economy and construction whether it be player villagers or AI villagers. This mod made my dream come true and made it a lot simpler than I first imagined it would be. The first plus is that the villagers are not squidwards! Hooray! Another thing I like about it is how simple it is and how you barely need to spend 5 minutes to get the resources to build your village. You start off by making a town hall block. All it requires is 8 wood planks in the shape of a chest with paper in the middle. Your village can be built anywhere within 100 blocks of the town hall. Then you make settler blocks which attract settlers to them. It starts off as just a beacon/chest hybrid attracting villagers and being used as a place where the villagers store what they collect. You do not even need to house them. All it requires is 8 wooden planks in the shape of a chest with a torch in the middle. Once you start you can only have 8 people in your village but all big things start off small. Next you need to start putting the villagers to work by placing different job blocks around your village. For example 8 wooden blocks with a pickaxe in the middle makes a mining block. A villager will automatically go to this block and become whatever job the block is based off. After that all they need is the correct tool/s and pay and they get straight to work. How do you pay them? With the games currency coins! Every day villagers will produce a certain amount of pay depending on what you set it too in the town hall block (do not set it too high or they might get angry and refuse to do work) and hey presto you have a bunch of coins. I could spend hours listing all the different mechanics and different things you can do but I will leave you too explore. Your town eventually gets more complex expanding and attracting more settlers to do more complex jobs like building. The mod is incredibly addictive just like the game it is based off (Anno) and fun too build your way from a small village too an impressive kingdom. The only reason it got 9/10 is because I believe it can improve even more in upcoming updates. Brilliant creative mod. Ranger rating: 9/10 Reccommended: Install if you fantasize about being a king of a minecraft village that is not full of squidwards!

Review #3  Minecraft comes alive undefined
I have decided that every week I am going to do  a topic for all the mod reviews I post. This weeks one is villagers as you have probably guessed and this mod is a brilliant example of how a simple change can make a big impact on your minecraft world! Basically this mod adds "normal" people to the game like as I frequently mention , are not squidwards. But they arent just differently textured villagers , you are able to interact with them. One of the first changes you will notice is when you enter the game is you are able to select your gender and "sexual preference" as well as a bunch of other options. Then once you find a village you can interact with everyone who lives there. One of my favourite parts about it is no villager is unique. They all have different jobs like librarian and guard and personalities that usually are different depending on the type of job you do. For example a librarian might be timid and shy while a guard might be moody and angry all the time. This affects how hard it is too get the perfect wife or husband (like in real life) where sometimes the person you have a crush on has a hard to get around personality. You can try many different approaches to try and increase a villagers love number too 100 so you can marry them. Telling jokes , flirting and just chatting with them are all options that can have different effects depending on the person you talk too. Then once you get your loved ones love up too 100 give them an engagement ring and congratulations you have a girlfriend. Then keep there love high and give them a wedding ring to marry them which gives you a bunch of free gifts from all the villagers. From there the things you can do are fun and endless. Breed and have a kid. Give your kid different jobs to do. Become the monarch and boss everyone around , promote people and even exectute people you do not like. Also there are several addictive achievments to work towards like having your kid catch 50 fish and even a secret achievment simply labelled "You Monster". The sheer amount of content and variety is astounding and will keep you occupied for ages.Ranger rating: 9/10 Reccomendation: Install if you want a mod that will keep you occupied for ages.

Review #4 Defensive villagers
undefined
This is just a small mod but the changes it makes are good if you want to do a survival with only minor mods installed. Basically it adds villagers that have armour and swords and know how to use them. Whether it be a zombie, a creeper or you! One of the things I love is their not just squidwards that know how to fight!:D It works like Skyrim. You can trade with the villagers but the second you show any signs of hostility i.e punching them all of them will make it their mission to beat you too a bloody pulp. And the odds are not in your favour as they can have anything from leather armour with wooden swords too diamond armour with diamond swords! Quite a small mod but I love how much work he must of put in too get non-squidwards with armour and swords. Ranger rating 6/10 Reccomandation: Install if you want a small mod that adds more fun and reality to your minecraft world.

Review #5 Better Dungeons
undefined
If you have not guessed already guys this weeks topic for mods is adventure , one of my favourites. So to start of we will look at one of my favourite mods of all time. Better Dungeons. Do'nt let the simplistic name put you off this mod is awesome. As you can probably guess it adds several fun to raid dungeons to the game. And the variety is astounding. From a pirate ship , too a volcano. From a castle too a stronghold. This mod adds 15 , yes thats right , 15 new dungeons too the game. Each has it's own different layout with different mobs inhabiting it and a boss for each. But it gets better. Did I mention the around 45 items that are added as well? The hookshot is my favourite but it also includes different types of grenades , awesome swords , daggers and spears as well as several different types of arrows. This mod is my favourite simply because it is fun. You can literally get a diamond sword in your first 5 mins playing so there is barely any boring crafting. It provides you with new powerful items and creative conquerable dungeons to rampage. The perfect mod for me. Ranger rating: 10/10 Reccomandation: Download if you want a fun variety of dungeons full of action added to your Minecraft world.

Review #6 The Aether
undefined
The Aether is probably one of the best mods ever made. It adds a whole new dimension (the Aether) which is the equivalant of a minecraft heaven. Amazing content will suprise you as soon as you enter the Aether. Floating islands full of strange creatures. Giant Panetheon like dungeons rest on the clouds and the most important thing of all , flying pigs, are grazing on the new terrain! One of the key features though are the fun to conquer dungeons. They go in difficulty order from bronze to silver to gold. In bronze you are faced with a straight path that is cleverly riddled with traps. At the end lies a giant blockface (literally) which is easy to outsmart. But this is only the beggining. Pantheon-like silver dungeon contains very powerful valkyries that drop medals when they are defeated. If you manage to get 10 medals and find the room of the valkyrie king in the maze of corridors. You get to fight a tough to beat angel that owns you at least once before you manage to beat it. Last but not least is the gold dungeon. A simple gold planet with a firey spirit in the middle. He is literally THE SON OF A GOD though he is possible to beat with enough pots and buckets of water. I bet you are thinking why not just use diamond gear? Well diamond is worser than gold in the Aether. As well as this there is several awesome weapons like the hammer of notch and there is loads of other things you can do like breeding the flying birds you use to get around. This mod will keep you occupied ofr ages. Ranger rating 10/10 Reccomandation:Hard to install but fun as hell if you want a great adventure mod.

Review #7 Tale of Kingdoms
undefined
Tale of kingdoms is a mod that adds to the medieval feel of minecraft. Join up with a guild , fight evil assassains and make a flourishing city. The main objective of Tale of Kingdoms is to add a little more meaning to your minecraft world. Giving a reason why your there and stuff to do. Basically you start off by signing a contract to join the guild which if you activate the mod will spawn right by you. It acts as your central hub kind of like the villages in Skyrim. You can buy and sell weapons and food and change the time of day in the inn as well as hire hunters from the guildmaster. NPC guild members defend the castle from any kinds of hostile beings and occasionally challenge you to a duel. You will start off killing mobs for gold and honor. Gold you can spend at shops. Honor once it gets high enough will allow you to become the king! There is many more fun things to do as well like saving villagers from destroyed villages and defeating reficules(teleporting powerful assassains that are the main antagonists of the game.) But it does'nt just stop at that. When your honor is full you can make a town of your own. With enough resources you can make more advanced structures like the library where you can get xp every day and the pub where you can gamble! Tale of Kingdoms has a simple concept but it does it's job well adding lots of content to the game and just like Minecolony allowing you to make your own town easily. Ranger Rating: 9/10 Reccomondation: Download if you want a more aesthetic and atmospheric mod about a tale of kingdoms!

Review #8 Adventurecraft
undefined
At first glance adventurecraft may seem simple thanks to the title but believe me it's not. For a start it's a total conversion mod that adds several new things to the game but get rid of the sandbox survival. Basically you choose a map from the wiki and download it. Each one gives you a new map and story to play with though most of the maps are based off the Legend of Zelda. Many of the items from Legend of Zelda are present like the boomerang which is fun to mess around with and bombs. All the maps in adventurecraft will keep you occupied for ages. Fancy a normal adventure? Choose the LOZ map.Want a horror map? How about Amneasia Minecrafts descent. But it does not stop there. You too can make your own maps with invisible walls , putting music into the right points of the story and making elaborate dungeons. All in all I think adventurecraft is a great mod but I see loads more potential. What about an alien invasion map? What about a skyrim based rpg? It provides you with most of the items you need for a normal zelda map but if you want something different you have to be a good coder and rarely different maps come out. However if your looking for a fun adventure, try this great total conversion mod. Ranger rating: 8/10 Reccomandation: Get this if your a thrill seeking adventurer!

Review #9 DivineRPG
Divine RPG is one of the best and biggest mods out there. 8 new dimensions 115 mobs including several satisfying to beat bosses and 100s of items. This mod will keep you occupied forever even though it is very difficult.Basically this mod focuses on the pure scale of how big a game minecraft can become. All the mobs are creatve and have different attacks. The dimensions each give you a strategy to learn and the items will left you stuck to choice on what you should choose. Bowhead anchor or Hellfire bow? Inferno armor or Aquastrife armor? This mod must of took about a year or over to make. I am actually amazed it is STILL being updated! It is fun but it is also DIFFICULT and UNFORGIVING!! Let me put it this way. One of the easiest mobs has 500 hp and can kill you in 2 hits when your in diamond armor. The easiest boss has 25000 hp and kills you in 1 hit in diamond armor as it launches you 15 blocks into the air.! Although it is not frustrating if you put keep items on. A true test to all hardcore players out there. DivineRPG provides 8 massive worlds to explore and forces you to bide your time until you have suitable equipment and pick a strategy before you take down the harder bosses. A true gem. Ranger Rating: 10/10 Reccomandation: DOWNLOAD IT

This series is a great idea. I feel like it would be easier for readers if you used a bulleted list, or a format kind of like that, and maybe made the text/font bigger. :) Ehh just a suggestion. :D Otherwise, great job!

EDIT: It also might help if you add more pictures (close-ups, and maybe a 'logo' for the front of theblog) of the mod to catch people's eye.
