Betrayed
Oh how the betrayal is so bitter when you just do not see it coming. I want to tell you all a story about the factions being twisted in only a few days. I will explain from the begining, and give little back details so you can fully understand how big this event was. Of course I was not betrayed nor did it really affect my situation on factions. The only thing that turned good from this is that everyone is for the most part starting at the same level so there is no dominating Faction at the moment.
Back Story told in poem:
There was once a faction called Titan
Who really liked to Frighten
They were on the top
And had to stop
So the factions came around
And took Titan DOWN
Actual Story:
The top faction after Titans were disbanded and put to shame was a little ol faction called Fenrir. Fenrir was very large and pretty well protected. Not as bad as Titans but they were controlling the money and had a lot of power. Caused many players to play it safe around them. So how did this faction get raided? It would seem to be a mistake was made, or was it a secret plan from the beginning? One member decided to see if he could "trust his allies" so he left the faction and said the owner had betrayed him. NOT TRUE, but not the point. He got players to join his side, had them believing his story. Not a very legit sounding story ( I knew it sounded fishy) but people believed and followed him anyways. He lead them to the walls of the faction and conveniently left telling them to not "raid". The opportunity was so perfect, no one was online to protect the faction, then some players in the faction decided to join in, and the walls were already hit on from before. It was at a vulnerable situation that was taken advantage of.TheMachine decided to enemy their ally Fenrir and took down their walls after hours of breaking through the defenses. Why did these allies trust the player? Well for starters they were fed the story about a member in Fenrir being the cause for the fall of Titans. Revenge was in order, also Fenrir was on top and has been since Titans so it needed to be taking down a few notches. Well they did a little more than that. They got Fenrir, which is fine cause they were remodeling so there was not too much valuables around. Then they got into the Fenrir Leaders personal vaults. Trying to completely destroy their chances of rebuilding anything quickly. Things were taken a little far. In the end they all got played by the one key player, he got them to do all his dirty work, real convenient eh?
Though most do not know, the raiding only set them back a tiny bit. they still have a lot of spawners and soon revenge will be taken against those who have betrayed. Funny how strong allies become enemies, and then when things "blow over" people start to trust one another again. Just keep this in mind when you are playing factions. People never just let things go, they may act as if it is okay but it not. People are always plotting so play it safe.
What happened to everyone? Well looks like you will have to go to Faction Hustlers and play the game yourself. You know the rocky past can you make it in the future?
